arvak isnt running as fast as the other horses for me

it would be better if Shadowmere, Frost, Arvak each having a special ability, and faster than normal horses, of course normal horses are also faster than original version

To add to Malottfamily was saying, the other horses with armour (Horse Armor mod) don't get the speed boost if you set Horse Armour to load last, but if you set Faster Arvak to load last, the armor doesnt appear (not sure if this is a consistant issue). Nevertheless, thanks for creating this mod! Actually makes using horses worth it :)

You can change the speed of your (armored) horses by bringing up the console and clicking on the horse. Then type "SetAV SpeedMult 150".

(Could be 1,5 though. You can check it by first typing "GetAV SpeedMult" which will show you the vanilla stats. If it is 1.00 then use 1.5 for the modded value.)

If have read somewhere that the change might not get stored in the savegames. In that case simply repeat it the next time you load the game.

it still works for arvak and i love the mod so much, i am simply saddened that i can have a fast armored horse. whatever i guess i still got arvak

Malottfamily: Does the game crash or are the horses simply set to normal (slow) speed? In that case you should still get the faster speed for Arvak, just not for the vanilla horses.

great mod, love it. lil problem though it appears the armored horses mod and this mod cannot coexist together like a happy family.

In soul cairn, Dawnguard DLC.
Go to the main gate at the castle where you find the vamp. mother, then go straight right, search the area for a smell temple like thingy. A horse skull will be in the middle on a small pillar. Four mistmen will appear. :)

None that I know of. Although only one of the two mods will work, because both change the same creatures.
As my mod adds no new objects with unique IDs, I suggest deactivating "Faster Arvak" first, loading the savefile that used it, saving the game to a new file and afterwards activating FVH. That way "Faster Arvak" will unload correctly and you should be able to switch mods without any problems.
