So, the Halo weapon models aren't loading for me. I have the required mods, but I am still just stuck with the old vanilla models

Im having a problem where when the guns fire, the muzzle flash is broken and pops up the squares of black and purple checker board errors, any help is appreciated.

As of right now i am going to work on converting this mod to [Wotc] which as far as i can tell from other modders this will take some time, especially since i have to rewrite a majority of this mod since its lw2 based. This will probably be the last mod i port to [Wotc].

Thank you for your guys support, ill be looking into the proper ways to update the mods without causing too much confusion. As it stands i am unsure of whether or not i need to upload the mods as new workshop files or as just updates. It will probably be a day or two while i poke around WOTC to figure out whats going on.

Because at this current moment i do not feel like rewritting all of the guns code to match non-lw xcom2 since its basically a complete rewrite.

Maybe in the future?

Its not a matter of cant, i have 3 guns packs 2 lw and 1 non-lw... its a matter of i just dont have interest in Xcom2 at this time and the interest i do have is for lw. Maybe if Lw2 is gone for a long time after this new expansion/DLC and im interested in playing if i can afford the DLC/Expansion i will convert. but thats 4 weapon packs to maintain. so if anything breaks its a lot of upkeep

Everythings been updated for LW2 current version, the BR has had its range table properly implemented, and all weapons range tables have been adjusted to match current LW2 stats.

I apologize to everyone who had custom ini files that did not back up their ini files prior to the update. As a general rule of thumb, you should always back up your custom edits to ini files in safe place for when mods update. That being said, if you did that, please copy all the "RANGE" tables from the new version to the old version ini files. Especially the Battle Rifle as that range table was out right not even working and im amazed that the gun even shot in the first place.

The other Lw2 varient mod "Halo Reach Weapons LW2" will recieve its update soon as well.

Oh my god, how did no one catch that... myself included.. the BR doesnt even have a range table... how has the BR even been working....

Anyways, with that being said, im working on updated values for these guns in relation to the newest LW2 version as of today. Remember these guns are designed as a "half" tier and are priced differently and have different stats than LW2 weapons of the same tier

The magnums are still bugged, i havent had time to go in an fix them properly, and with a new expansion / DLC coming out im going to wait to fix anything because the DLC will most likely break all my gun mods

Also if someone could post the gun prices from the new version of Lw2 so i can update prices to reflect the values i want them to be in relation to the Lw2 varients.

They are 100% compatible with eachother. when i was playing a while ago i used them side by side.. these are meant to be like side-upgrades over the other guns ineberween tiers

(you can change that in the ini files provided if thats not your thing)

People have been reporting an issue if they use my Squad Select Mod which has a LW2 version -- all weapons would be displayed in rainbow colors (images not found). I loooked into it and the issue is that all weapon attachments have "null" as the image, it should be "" (empty string). Can you fix that?

I took a look, wasnt exactly sure what i was looking at when i glanced at it a few days ago, itll probably still be a while before i come back to XCom2 modding as the game is pretty stale for me to mod right now, when i come back ill take another look.

The way lw2 is coded changes the way gun mods have to be coded, there is no way to flip it "on" or "off" so i had to gutt and reword large sections of code to make this specific pack work for lw2

The pistol does not show when I pick this in the items selection whereas the normal pistol will be seen when I pick that one. Any suggestions?

Yeah I can see that. I imagine it has to be a royal pain in the butt to get it right! I really do appreiate all the work you put into these though! I enjoy this pack and the reach pack (I end up using both so it looks like my guys use a different version of weapons, like using M4s and M16s in modern day) Just the reach weapons fit a bit better in size as you did an AMAZING job with those. Most are rather bulky in this pack but not horrible. the only really big stand out is the DMR for snipers.

Still glad to hear you might look into it! Thanks for responding and once again, love the awesome work you do!

Now if I can just find someone to make me a halo rail gun as a one shot sniper rifle (or maybe something like the bolt caster?) I can really kick it. But that's just a rambaling thought.

Most likely do i think that was on my list when i come back to do a round of fixes was to rescale some of them.

The prorcess usually is a guessing game.. i import a vanilla Xcom gun and try to scale the gun to match and line up the foregrip and the trigger so it fits in the soldiers hand, then comes model editing to make sure it doesnt clip horrendously.
