Visually incredible, model reuse also. I have given up due to the level design being very unclear and the array puzzles simply becoming frustrating. I will watch a walkthrough instead

After you die at the spider bit one of the spiders stops moving after you pull the level and they can go in that small room where the wheel is

its name has the word episode 1 is there going to be en episode 2 it wold be cool and it shold be that he now has to deal with the ruins of pathos 2 by help of simons copy in omicron and he trys to get there by going same path has simon did but stations ar coverd with wau structures

Man the entire Extinction series is awesome.Expanding the story of SOMA.Watching the world from different angles,different stations.Explaining some things,creating some lore.And i love how you used some unused places,monsters and music.Can't wait for the next chapters!My only problem was that they are kinda short.

hmmmm when i was trying to load this mod / load the first map the game just was loading forever then got popup saying "Which device did you plugged in?" on my audio manager after the second the same popup appeared the game crashed without any notice about crashing

I played this mod a long while ago (Quite good, though needed a walkthrough for some of the puzzles).

I do want to ask, will the remaining mods in the Extinction series be released? Mostly talking about Outpost Calypso and the second part of Ariadne's Ocean.

It was a good one, not the best off Extinction series but not bad. The only shit is that my game got stuck nearly at the end, some kind of glitch where the red robot doesn't respond after I override the system, got to check a walkthrough and it was pretty much the ending of the story so... that's it.

What I liked:
- New Story
- Puzzles
- More thoughtful levels and lighting


What did not I like:
As a holder of another language, it was a little difficult for me to understand what the game wanted from me
I walked almost at random. Not enough pointers. Outputs and key transitions could be tagged as.

I like the premise, but continually hunting around for the solutions to array grid puzzles dampened my enthusiasm and I ended up giving up in annoyance. I really do appreciate what you're trying to do but creating a good narrative does not necessitate loading up every single corridor with an array of overly complex puzzles.

Yes, there are enemies in the mod but not scripted chase scenes. All chases are caused by the player.

I'm going to leave a 3/5 rating for this mod. In short, this game needs a dire improvement on its level design. Currently, the level design does not clearly identify the objective or give any way for the player to figure out what they're supposed to be doing except through blind luck. I feel that these issues can be fixed though, and for that reason, I plan to change my rating when the mod improves.

The following list is by no means exhaustive, but if you can do the following, you will have a good puzzle:

1. Clearly identify the problem ("I'm stuck in this room")
2. Clearly identify the objective ("I need to turn on the power open the door")
3. Reward the player for learning ("If I look in drawers and behind curtains, I may find objects I need.")
4. A good puzzle is elegant but minimal ("To turn on the power, I need to do X")
5. The player feels better for solving the puzzle if they feel they had to apply what they learned in an unusual or unexpected manner.

Randomly just fell through the floor while exploring. Hit a bottom pretty quick and there's a lever. Pulling it placed me back in the starting room without resetting my progress. 10/10

Very Good CS, but maybe indicate more the placement of the keys that Simon's body carry It took me 15 long minutes to find it, you should place a tiny light or something..
In the end, it was a blast playing this, hyped for the next episode ! :D

That robot don't want to let me out to underwater (i saw this in walkthough). I pressed all levers in the tunnels and override computer without reset it. But robor still saying its old bla-bla. I think i broke the game...

It looks nice and mission is appropriately senselssly nihilistic, but... I got to second level and unfortunately game hangs up at random moment there. It makes mod unplayable.

@Draugemalf I did. He told me to set the frequencies and restore the power. But the computer is deactivated and all the switches for the frequencies are flipped (which was tedious considering the spiders). Is there a lever for the power that I am missing?

I liked your other two mods, Leucos more so than The Path Least Tread. But this one tops BOTH OF THEM, it's pretty, there aren't very many glitches, the voice acting isn't annoying as hell (which is a huge plus because I hate the voice acting in like 89% of mods) and the puzzles made me want to punch a hole through my screen. Which is just how I like my puzzles.

Except you left me with this beautiful ocean scene and took it away from me. D:

I am actually stuck on level 2.. I completed the button puzzle, flipped all the switches after i went through the tunnels, and i sent the override from the computer. Nothing changed other than the power went off and the door is locked. I get it, I need to turn the power back on, but I am at a loss... Halp pls..
