My idea was that large chains are typically something you see around docks / anchors / boats and thus water. I think with Morphling it's quite a challenging character to design items for, you can do several water based shape style objects, personally I think the idea fits though I could see why it may not appeal to some. The way the one chain dangles when compiled even though it isn't rigged with its own bones, due to the movements it looks like it is wobbling with his wrist movements. If you want to give a reason beyond the visuals you could imagine him wanting these chains to put more force behind his attacks.

i see no need for a liquid water being to be wearing chains, or for that matter how they are staying on, unless it wants them to stay there and enjoys more weight / less freedom of movement from wearing them. Maybe for another character, chains might fit well.

Yeah its 32 bit, looked around on polycount and google etc.. seems a few people are having this issue. I'm sure on valves end they can fix it pretty easily if they wanted to but I'm rather novice with most of this process so if I do start experimenting about with it and figure out how, I could get an updated picture.

Do you compile it with 32-bit channels? The alpha might be getting left out when you make the vmt/vtf files. Otherwise it looks nice.
