Hello Indiaman, it is true that the mod enables sea units to move very quickly at the end of the game, so it gives a major bonus for naval units (but for all civs fortunately). However, if you study the question, naval units have in the late game 5 or 6 movement, which is alway less than real movement of land units, who benefits from roads and railroads, so it appears that naval units aren't as quick in fact.

Sure it depends on you way of playing, and I made this mod more especially for huge maps with many oceans (like polynesia map), as in this type of game, sea travel can be very long ^^
(and for the picture, it is just a reused picture from the Great Lighthouse art)

I get ocean travel is, almost all the time, quicker than over land, but double movement for naval units on ocean? that's pretty powerful imo.

(the trireme looks cool, but remember that trireme in the thumbnail can't go over ocean unless you're polynesia, which would still be somewhat inaccurate since they didn't use triremes :p)

OK, I hope it can work for others too, I played some games with the Enlightenment, era mod and I was so disapointed that my mod didn't affect the new units added by this mod

Actually, if this mod loads last it affects all units (seems to work fine with Enlightenment Era for me).

so i assumed. thanks.

Unfortunately, it only affects the game official contents (vanilla, DLC and expansion pack)

perhapse this has been answered (dont speak french). does this affect other mods or only vanilla units?

@Donald & The Derper, thank you for your post :)

Impressive. Very nice.
