Nice amount of guns and I like the cameras and the windows!
i can admire this horrifying 2 ton tank from 100% time rate!! :D
I wonder if people like my creations.....
So good!
Is there more to do? I don't know. I followed the instructions as said on the forum page, but it doesn't work for me. It might be best for you to reinstall the mod and tell me how you installed each folder into Besiege.
By the way, a quick St. Chamond review: Accurately shaped tank. Very nice. Though a piece of the top broke off as soon as the simulation starts, it functions nicely. In fact, the chassis reminds me of the M3/M5 Stuart. Maybe you can make one of those.
That's it for now, but I definitely still need help on installing TGYD!
Also maybe make a FT-17
:)
@Nanohunter5000 u need to put the contents of the resource folder into the resource folder in the mods folder.
@Lukinch I use TGYD's building tools combined with EasyScale mod. putting all these metal plates nicely aligned next to its other is a real pain in the ass I must say though.
@Ross Plavsic, thanks for clarifying the problem. crazyshix already indicated it but I couldn't find it on my own (mostly because it does not occur on my pc). also, I completely forgot to mention that u can tension the tracks by pressing [H] xD, but it only makes a small difference.
Aside from that, amazing build! The tracks run smoothly, and conveniently don't require tightening like a lot of other tanks do. Also, aiming weapons through narrow windows underscores the feeling of fighting from an armored war machine. It's really fun!
I hope this info helps.
@crazyshix, although you could use the sandbox or other levels to fight soldiers, fighting another tank with this heavy build will require a beastly computer to handle more than 10% game speed (I tested it with my General Purpose tank, which gives me around 55fps when running 100%)
For some reason, whenever I placed the zip file's resource file's content into the mod directory's resource content, the textures don't load (This problem has plagued me for a while now). Could you help me, if not, at least, tell me how you installed the Building Tools mod?
(Since I'm here, might as well test out the St. Charmond!)
