Maybe I was incredibly unlucky with picking only outdated mods, but this happened even with this very mod. I later found one Insurgent mod that looks good AND worked for me, so I'm keeping that.

Maybe you downloaded old mods that weren't updated after the last major patch that removed two of the insurgents models

Verify the game's cache or make sure the mods are downloaded correctly. If nothing works, make a backup of your local mods and re install the game

Every single Insurgent skin mod I download has bugged Fighter model. No armor and light armor look exactly the same, and I have no idea why. I tried at least 8 different mods just now. Any idea what might cause it?

Yeah it's as known glitch when using the RNG method, there's no way to fix this as far as I know. Sorry man

I added all medium armor variants and both heavy armor variants. It depends on the server too, it might allow custom mods or not. And the death bug is something I can't fix unafortunatelly

Yes, I've noticed it too, but since he hasn't told me to remove this mod, I thought I'd keep it up for those who want to use all of the other textures

Heads up, Warrior J seems to have returned from limbo to make the updates himself, just noticed.

As far as I know, they are the heavy uses the old Sapper texture, the light the one already in this pack, and the medium is same the same texture, just with a green headband instead a purple one

With my permission? What do gou mean? You mean taking my models and retexturing them? You can try, however they are a bit edited and may not work with other textures.

I can try using them, replacing the textures (properly this time) and see how they go, of couse with your permission. If not, this is as far as I can go to fix them

Yeah, in all case the only way this could work properly is using playermodels like yours that have different texture sets for each armor and gear type

Yup. If you would be able to use not EntityRandom, but something like player's steamID that this model was created for - you could, maybe, synchronize skins. However it's not possible, cause I am pretty sure that when ragdoll spawns - it's already not attached to anyone. The only way how to make multiple textures is to use serverside plugin with serverside models and serverside ragdolls.

That's what I was thinking, the player stops 'existing' and the engine spawns the ragdoll entity, so the skin changes...

I guess you can't. That's how random works. There are 2 ways to do it:
1) Make it random every model spawn.
2) Make all same models has random texture per map.

The thing is when ragdoll spawns - it despawns animated model and spawns ragdoll instead of it, so it again makes engine choose random skin.

It seems to be a bug that makes the model change skins when a player dies, I'll see if I can fix it

their skin seems to change upon death as myself and others have noticed

@Combat Sneeze I know, original Warrior J's pack was intended to see those guys only as Snipers/Sharpshooters and scouts... But since now that's the default model for those who run out with no armor on them, they will be repeated a lot. I can try making a new skin pack and add some variations to that variant if people wants me to do so.
