@Maik I'm very glad I found this so I don't have to use the ugly P42 the game has, however in regards to the reversed model not being common, this is far from the truth. while yes on the long haul trains they are usually facing the same way (so if the lead loco has a problem they have a backup) on almost all "short" runs in the Midwest and far northeast there will be 1 loco on either end so that when they get to the final stop, they can just transfer controls to the other end. cab cars would be both unsafe (many of these trains now do 110mph for long stretch's and collisions wouldn't end well) and the extra loco adds redundancy. If 1 loco loses power, the other can limp the train to a siding/station. its also just nice to have a little extra horse power! :)

It would be very cool to have this and get the "drive backwards" functionality, but I'm guessing that would take some code finagling.

Thx for compliment, the P42DC normally runs "elefant-style" means all Locos forward. Very rarely you can see a back to back configuration. For a Push-Pull-config we need a cabcar for the other end but there is non for TPF, afaik.
But somethere in the future with a update i can consider this.

@Maik. Love your mods! Would you be able to make reversed versions of your Genesis locomotives for push-pull and double-heading?

But if you want to change that in the mod folder \ res \ model in the mdl file you can change year from to 1991

Good news the author grants me permission to use his soundmod. I will update all my GE -Genesis soon. You then need my Repaint and the GE-Genesis sound mod for proper work.

Thanks ;) The Problem with this vanilla loco is that the mapping is a bit odd and I had no desire to change that. Now 3 repaints are done (a VIA repaint is VIP) so now it's to late.

Yeah, great job as usual. The actual Phase III & Phase IV versions are the best in my opinion. They look really sharp.

Yes it's updated Vanilla - Genesis in the german description is a bit mor info about that ;) And to the earlier time of introduction. I just corrected that to the real one.
