It's weird, use this mod along with Enhanced Movement, the dot and line isnt show up,but with ACE3 its show up! when use flashlight its show up a dot, and when use pointer then switch to visible laser , the dot and the line is show up!

this mod is too old, and line is only 100 metres long, vanilla IR laser is up to 1000m

I REALLY like this NV effect compared to the default. MUCH thx. Way more convincing/immersive. Is there any way we can slightly adjust the darkening of the outer oval a tad more?

Just a quick PSA to anyone who may have happened to have fucked up a custom mission they were working on by testing out this mod and deciding against using it (it's a good mod, but not conducive to turbo-autist levels of realism since NODs are silent and the laser thing, while useful, is kinda goofy): In order to unfuck the save, you have to go in with the mod enabled and remove all of the NODs in the mission, then save and quit, and that will remove the dependency to BaBe_NVG from the mission, and then you can disable the mod and add all your night vision equipment back in. Simply unbinarizing the mission.sqm file, editing out that mod from the list of dependencies and then rebinarizing does NOT work; BaBe_NVG modifies the NVGoggles, NVGoggles_OPFOR, and NVGoggles_INDEP classes, and it appears to remember that these classes now have a specific mod dependency even if you edit the dependency out of the mission.sqm file.

I am having the problems mentioned below, but for the sake of clarity here are my issues. A) no menu in game. B) Only the green line is usable (but red dot is fine). Any update on a fix or info on why this happening?

love the mod, works well most of the time.

Just an update.

The menu no loner shows when esc is hit. there is a way to adjust settings through your expansions tab in main menu of arma3. however the green lazer is the only "3d line" i get, no matter which one i choose. the dot colors work however.

Just some feed back and above all props for the mod amigo.

@MuRaZorWitchKING a mod being required to play a mission is usually not a reason to ask for permission since you are not redistributing the files or anything. i appreciate you asking though! and you can't really go wrong crediting people. it's a nice gesture.

let everyone know about that mission, ifyou want and post a link here. i might check it out.

Hope this gets updated soon. Love this mod but keep getting popup errors when the main menu loads and after loading into a game.

@BLACKOUT: man i wish i could hack into the IR laser that is in the game. but i couldn't find a way how yet. i gotta fix Enahnced Movement first. after that i will give this another chance too. try some new stuff with NVGs too. just gimme some time. not that frequently open the game these days

so can U make day light laser pointer be compatible with ace? In ACE u can toggle flashlight/IRlaser/redDOT by pressing ctl+L
it will be cool if we can turn on/off your laser with this principle.
now it works simultaneously with IRlaser

This is my favorite NV effects mod. Think you guys would consider fixing up Dyslexi's NV effects (now bundled with ACE)? His mod makes the dark areas look real good, but it doesn't have the same disorientingly bright lights like this one does, which I really enjoy.

Thanks for producing such a quality mod.

this is pretty early. there are missions and mods that easily break it. which is my bad though. i need to do it differently i think.

just have some patience please. i'm recovering from hospital and takign a little break atm.

i'll come back to this though. don't worry. things to look forward to are also some new 3d scopes. needs more testing thoguh before i can release that.

atm, this is mostly liek a proof of concept mod. testing methods to do things. things will get more solid along the way in terms of randomly breaking depending on mod or mission set up. well the usual arma major pain in the butt stuff

My nvg seems to be bugged. I'll set it to off for some more, dare I say, casuall gameplay. But when i do it always appears again after i open/close my map. Even worse the film grain affects my regular vision too. I have no other NVG addons or any other visual addons installed.

The only NVG releated addon i would have would be nvg's from gear packs but i usually just stick to vanilla/dlc

@gemini.69: yea there are some issues even before the update. the overlays don't work for me half the time.

i'll make sure to clean stuff up for the next update. just cookign some features before i do that update.

Hi badbenson, I don't know if it's due to today's ArmA update, but now laser line is green even if it has been set up to red in the option menu :(
