In rise and fall i wont stop in de classical age with the dark and golden ages so i got into medieval age without having the techs

when i used it to stop in the middel ages,protected areas seemed to provide an unreasonable amount of scientific and cultural value and food productivity to adjacent cells. ireally like this mod and really hope this bug can be fixed.when i play the game i just didnt think to build a sanctuary

for Rise and Fall expansion the ages seem to keep going and I keep getting stuck in dark ages. any ideas to solve this?

I found out my crashing issue LOL Was running Direct X 12 instead of 11. I've found that custom time mod works with the Real Era Stop mod and Warfare expanded. Those 3 together turned Civ6 into the perfect game for me, cant stop playing.

@rivin2011 if i were you i'd ALSO get the custom time mod there i posted below. atleast then you could make techs take a long while to get with the end era as classical to spend max time in ancient era

@rivin Too many game systems fails when Classical era is removed from the game. Ancient stuff is just not enough for the game to work properly. I've tried it when I created the mod.

Infixo yes but i wanted to stop it on acient becouse i wanted to have an even bigger advantage of my hoplites becouse i really like them but are not that good if the enemy already has swordsmen. and i know some might still find them good but thats just my opinion. I really hope u can do that.

Any way one could make this work with the Warfare Expanded mods? I love the new units it adds, but I feel like not much time to use them. Plus I like the ability to hold the game to a certain tech level. Would it be a simple tech tree edit? If so what would I want to try? Love the work, has brought me much enjoyment, just looking to combine 2 cool pieces of work into one, for my personal enjoyment, not looking to upload. Thanks! Ps: being able to end the game in the Pollution Era makes for an interesting late game, love it!

If the "No Turn Limit" option straight up breaks this mod, can't you gray/remove that option from the advanced options screen when setting up the game? At the very least, can you put your warning about not using it somewhere in the actual game, such as the mod menu? It's kind of counter-intuitive for something that major to be only on the Workshop page. Most people only check the page when initially subscribing, not a year+ after when they would have already forgotten about this issue, i.e. me :(

@spaceanimal Those are all atomic techs. You need last era Atomic to have access to them.

Idk if I did something wrong, tried the mod, did a WW2 scenario (Last era modern / 1945) - but the necessary tech for destroyers, fighters, bombers, nukes, machine guns, anti-aircraft guns and a few others are unavailable. Is that by design? Anything I can do to fix that?

I just had a session where I ran out of time, I had turn limit set to something ridiculous like 100000 but yet for some reason I had it limited to modernisation but it went into the atomic era then boom game was over and I had run out of time ?????

Excellent mod for those that have preferred time periods to play. Combine this with slower tech and civics and you can really appreciate each era.

This mod is the only way I ever plan Civ 6... The game becomes incredibly boring for me once I hit the industrial era, and by the modern era it feels like i'm just trying to end the game as fast as possible to get it over with. This mod lets me just lock it to renaissance, and play much longer than I would otherwise

is there a possibility to be able play in ancient are only in the future? I'm not sure the motives other people have for locking eras but I enjoy staying in era with a unique faction unit in it and there's quite a bit of them in ancient era :)

This doesn’t remove the renaissance walls in siege tactics tech right? I only see up to medieval walls (and the unique Georgia walls) but no renaissance walls for some reason.

@dragondinor This mod REMOVES data related to eras you don't want. Also resources, if this is the case. Some map scripts hardcode resource indexes and this will cause issues because these resources may not exist or have different indexes when some data is removed.

For some reason this mod messes up resource generation with YnAMP. However I've only tested it on the play Europe again map playing as rome, starting with ancient and ending with classical, so I don't know if it works in other situations.

there is a problem, when all civilization should vote if there one of the option is vote for close industry buildings there is no choice, you cant choose anything if we choose to stop era on classical/medieval or renaissance era, if you cant choose then no next turn game stop cause cant vote

Really love this mod. Great for classical or medieval era duels between friends. I love all the thought that went into the tweaks. I began thinking last night that I would like it if we could stop science without stopping culture. I don't think such a mod currently exists.

was playing Rome and wanted to stop in the classical era but you still progress through eras like medieval, Renaissance etc. but you are forced into the dark age because it resets at the 10 turn limit. can you fix this?

@infixo This mod for some reason disables delegations and embassies, as well as setting every tile to average appeal. I know that this mod is the cause, since I did multiple test games with this being the only mod enabled. I would like to send you the logs, but this would be my first time doing so and I am not sure of the best way to send them.
