This uses the code behind the estates feature to function, which comes with the Cossacks DLC. Once that is added to the base game, Cossacks will no longer be needed.
No.
+respect
I'm afraid not, no :(
It should be, but no promises
The game mechanic that it uses requires the estates system
Yea, sorry about that, I was just finishing it up when you released your mod - this took a long time to get working! And yup, you're correct. It uses the independent estate system to generate a bunch of randomized tags (invisibly), and then lets the player choose from among those.
@GamesCooky
Unfortunately, the only thing the game mechanics let me control is the name. Perhaps if paradox adds more features in the future this will become possible.
I'm afraid specifications of this type aren't possible. This mod only works because paradox has included a function that makes random countries for Independent estates. That algorithm is responsible for choosing the name, color, and national idea set of the new nation, and I can't change how it does any of this. As far as I can tell, the only input it takes is the names of your provinces and areas, so the best I can do is give you some options from those.
I didnt know that about that interesting fact. Maybe making it so that the country's name has to be from a province below 6-8 letters?
Yup! I mean it when I say its compatible with everything ;)
Short of changing the names of every province and area, no. Consider though that many (if not most) post-colonial countries IRL use adopted native names
Eg Canada, Arizona, Mexico, Chihuahua, Kansas, Ontario, etc
(Sorry.)
I'm exploring that possibility.
@Molson
Yup!
