I only made the video not the RAH-66 ^^;

That is Neutex's Rah-66, and that one isn't constant speed, which is not realistic but very easy to build
Big Mathis  [author] 14 Mar, 2017 @ 1:51pm
Google it, dude.
LightningwingDragon 14 Mar, 2017 @ 10:18am
what is fenstron
LightningwingDragon 14 Mar, 2017 @ 10:18am
look at Shade's RAH-66
the tail rotors do look similar
if not then that is ok i just picked this as a good referance for a middle range helicopter
easyer to control than the chinnoks but more functions that the Bell and heuy
Big Mathis  [author] 14 Mar, 2017 @ 1:08am
Look at its tail rotor. The rotor itself is embedded into the tailboom and there are 11 blades. Compare that the to simple two-bladed tail rotor of the UH-1 Huey. A realistic tail rotor uses variable pitch. However, that requires hinges, braces and pistons. But I guess I could just cheat a little and use variable speeds

if you do choose the Dolphin then i suggest contacting Shade for help with the tail
LightningwingDragon 13 Mar, 2017 @ 2:26pm
fenstron? what is that? also if you need to pick a different coast guard helicopter
the Dolphin was just to ask there are about 5 coast gaurd helicopters

I agree that it looks cool. Maybe I will make it my next project. The only thing I'm concerned about is the fenestron tail rotor. I will need to scale down the blocks by a lot in order to make it work.

also i think that it may be a nice change for you because the only helicopters you have done right now are heavy lift helicopters and small light helicopters
this helicopter can be the "middle" ground.
LightningwingDragon 13 Mar, 2017 @ 12:36pm
not realy my cousin is in the coast guard but i just think its pretty cool
think how many people are saved by helicopters because land vehicals cant always travel to certian locations
Big Mathis  [author] 13 Mar, 2017 @ 12:34pm
Do you have a special relationship with that helicopter?
LightningwingDragon 13 Mar, 2017 @ 12:30pm
it doesnt have to be u.s coast guard colors i just needed to say that as a clarification to what type of helicopter i had in mind

aka to narrow down google image search
LightningwingDragon 13 Mar, 2017 @ 12:29pm
thank you
LightningwingDragon 13 Mar, 2017 @ 12:28pm
if so can you make a US coast guard MH-65 Dolphin with SIDE mounted winch
p.s i understand that lifting anything with the winch will mess up whieght distribution but it would look cool anyways
Big Mathis  [author] 13 Mar, 2017 @ 12:24pm
Sure why not?
LightningwingDragon 13 Mar, 2017 @ 12:22pm
Do you take building requests?
