It does not take up a manipulator slot. Functionally, it's just a gun that looks like a matter manipulator.

I must've found this mod too late then. That would be amazing if you could. Obviously i won't try and pester you to do it but if you did someday, that'd be awesome. I'll pop back in again from time to time. Thanks
I've stopped support for this mod, but I'll see about revamping it and releasing a separate version when I have the time.

I'll see what I can do. I might update the mod to just use the same asset the Manipulator does depending on what mod you have installed.
I've been toying with charged shot weapons, though I haven't been able to implement it in a way that I'm satisfied with. It will probably come the next time I update this mod. Thank you for the feedback!

I'll tinker with the assets for it and see if I can't figure out how it works. That would be pretty neat to have the manipulator gun use charge shots.
I'm not familiar with that pistol. Is it in the base game or from a mod? I might be able to rig up something like that.
