Nice little diversity improving mod. Seems to work on latest version as far as I can tell.

Sup, is the mod compatible with the last ck2 version?
Chuva 24 Sep, 2020 @ 3:07pm
Is the mod compatible with Sin's genocide mod?, or any other culture convert mod?.
coegho  [author] 29 Aug, 2020 @ 10:19am
Yes, that's exactly how it works.
Proctor 28 Aug, 2020 @ 1:29pm
So what you're saying is that if I am emperor, greek and conquer Egypt while putting in place a character who has a bulgarian culture and who has all the counties of a duchy (and controlling the duchy himself) in Egypt, he would be able to convert the duchy that he fully controlls to bulgarian culture? Am I understanding this right?
coegho  [author] 27 Aug, 2020 @ 5:06pm
A character is the owner of some province if they hold the county title. But as long as the character is not independent, they must be at least duke (having a duchy title) to have a chance to convert the culture of the province.
Proctor 27 Aug, 2020 @ 4:02pm
What do you mean with this: He have at least Duke tier, independent or not.
I'm new to this game so I don't quite understand what u mean with that sentence.
coegho  [author] 27 Aug, 2020 @ 2:38pm
Nope, the culture of the province can only change to the culture of its owner, a count in that case
Proctor 27 Aug, 2020 @ 12:50pm
So if you, as the emperor, have greek culture and you conquer egypt for example. Will only the dukes have to be greek in order to change egypt's culture regardless of the fact that all counts are egyptian? Is this correct?
Also, is this savegame compatible?

Great mod Thanks
Anarch Cassius 25 Sep, 2019 @ 11:07pm
Thank you!
coegho  [author] 24 Sep, 2019 @ 11:19am
Ok, mod updated. Sorry for the big delay.
maximius_serbus 19 Sep, 2019 @ 5:14am
@Magis Second that! Please update and make HIP submode
Magis 14 Sep, 2019 @ 4:51pm
An update for 3.2.1 would be great, plus a submod for HIP compatibility. Great mod
Lewa263 16 Jul, 2019 @ 4:11pm
This needs to be updated because the vanilla culture_conversion_events file now includes some stuff about the culture conversion effects of the wonders introduced in patch 3.2.
falhxer 3 Apr, 2019 @ 3:02pm
Be praised, it saved me so much work in eu4, also roleplay wise is very good, nice job, this mod is basically a must have!!!
coegho  [author] 20 Dec, 2018 @ 3:38pm
OK, I've updated the mod. Notify me if you experiment any problem.
IMPORTANT: If you miss the "invite a local" feature, don't worry. I've split the mod in two because that feature was already in this separate mod:

I have investigated it moderately deeply, and the mod file definitely needs updating. HF adds some code to event 55000 to include something about bloodlines, and this mod is missing those codes.
Jonarus_Drakus 30 Nov, 2018 @ 6:18am
I haven't investigated deeply, so the the author should still look into an update just to make sure - But as far as I have been able to tell, this does still work with HF (certainly hasn't caused any obvious crashes or glitches).

WIll this mod work for the current version of CK2?
CryoNomad 22 Mar, 2018 @ 12:21am
@coegho

I love this mod and your side mod Invite a Local. Great for other mods like GoT mod that require a certain hard to find culture to form titles or keep genetics pure. Would it be possible for you to make another option to bring a young lady of that culture to your court? To set up same culture families before landing or farm for certain culture genetics!

@coegho
Thanks a bunch!

Bone Knight 13 Dec, 2017 @ 10:52pm
how does this mod conflict with HIP @Wizard ?
Gaylad 19 Nov, 2017 @ 3:11pm
Pretty sure this conflicts with HIP. Could you make a mod with just the "invite a local" decision? That would be amazing.
coegho  [author] 3 Aug, 2017 @ 5:54pm
@SneakyBallz I like your idea. Currently I don't have any time, but I will add the features you request when I can
JvJ 3 Aug, 2017 @ 8:15am
Same option would be for a locale Noble would really help things.
JvJ 3 Aug, 2017 @ 7:57am
Hey i love this mod the only suggestion i would like to add is the decision to invite a locale lady feels strange marrying off all my local Egyptian Miaphysites to my Catalonian Catholic women lmao im planning on a Reunification of all Christian based faiths currently on 3 papacy's.
coegho  [author] 30 Jul, 2017 @ 7:20am
@Iatu
As long as they don't modify this file:
- events/culture_conversion_events.txt
Everything should be fine.
MarriedComfortLabia 29 Jul, 2017 @ 1:54pm
does this work with HIP?
QuasiMOB 27 Apr, 2017 @ 2:31pm
okay i'll check it out. thanks though
coegho  [author] 26 Apr, 2017 @ 6:06pm

I understand AGOT mod is a total conversion mod, so it wouldn't work. I don't know the other.
coegho  [author] 26 Apr, 2017 @ 6:02pm
@Kilburno
Well, in real life it's desirable because, you know, cultural diversity is cool, global homogeneity is not. Just my opinion though. In game it's desirable for roleplaying, and multiplayer (this idea came from a MP game I had).
QuasiMOB 26 Apr, 2017 @ 11:55am
does the mod work with other mods, like "AGOT" mod or "after the end" mod?
vai 26 Apr, 2017 @ 12:47am
Kiburno Maybe they want more rebellionsm, idk. And in rl is usefull for the economy plus the foreing food is fucking amazing.
Kilburno 25 Apr, 2017 @ 2:26pm
Real life and in game, btw.
Kilburno 25 Apr, 2017 @ 2:26pm
"Useful if you want a diverse realm with a lot of cultures, and you don't want to make a giant unicultural blob."
When has this ever been desirable? Not trying to be a jerk, but seriously.
coegho  [author] 23 Apr, 2017 @ 12:49pm
Well, I converted once some byzantine provinces as a jew vassal. It took a lot of time because my moral authority was very low, though
Azzarrel 23 Apr, 2017 @ 12:42pm
I didn't see this succeed once in 500 hrs playtime, so well, not sure about this
... but you can be imprisoned for trying though.
coegho  [author] 23 Apr, 2017 @ 12:10pm
Well, I think you can spread your religion while being a vassal now, using your court chaplain. So you don't need a mod to do it.
Azzarrel 22 Apr, 2017 @ 5:42am
would be quite useful for religion, too, I guess (maybe with the reqesite that only the one with the higher authority can spread).
Vincente Steele 27 Mar, 2017 @ 12:04pm
I like this idea.
coegho  [author] 18 Mar, 2017 @ 12:37pm
Thank you, I made this mod thinking on MP, when some friends and I play as a empire we wanted to maintain every kingdom's culture :D
General Kysieran 18 Mar, 2017 @ 12:18pm
Interesting idea ;)
