Thank you Raward! That's very kind of you to say! To be completely honest I don't know what inspired me to make this isalnd, I simply woke up one morning and felt motivated to create. It took me a few days, I unfortunately don't remember the exact amount of time I spent on it. As for the tips, it really depends what you're going for. I always find symmetry in the landscape and structures to be very appealing. Also, experiment with what you have and try to make something new! For example, Instead of using pre-built statues and structures try making your own, use simple stuff first, and later add on more complex details to them when you feel you have your desired shape. Remember that terrain is equally as important, because in the end the entire look of your island will depend on how well you blended the terrain with whatever you built, giving terrain a more natural and aesthetically pleasing touch is peferable. Most importantly, patience is key!

I also recently created a map based on nature, but with a conflict of man made structures. I was wondering if you could critique it.

What inspired you to make this? I see your attention to detail is very spectacular. I loved the rock statue you made, and the well... well.. well well well. Clever. Haha. Also how long did it take you to make this? Any tips for people looking to make well structured maps such as yours?

So yeah, I added lamps to the garden. Figured more detail wouldn't hurt anyone. ;)

Another fantastic island Mr.Secundus! It's bursting with life and has a lot of great little detail elements. The loot balance feels right too, though I was looking for them with the freelook camera. The horizontal roofs of the small houses have some z-fighting you might want to fix

Impressive and very beautiful! Is there really only a single data bank and a single loot chest? I went through most of the underbrush and found not a single loot container. The chest should be hidden in a less obvious place; my suggestion: put a loot container in its place.
I understand that loot ruins would be out of place on this island because The Gardens of Altheim are so very well balanced in its greenery and architecture! Too bad I could not enter the houses. These would have been plausible hiding places.
