Great map. I enjoyed trying to figure out my start position early on.

Koates 1 May, 2017 @ 7:51pm

like there are some flat earth maps too look up or just google UN flag
but idk how map making works on civ V i used to make Civ 2 maps though, but ya if you need any help id be down try picking back up map making or even just TEST for ya ,

plus i think if north pole was centered Denmark would make more sense on getting North america having a legit Viking Saga''s with the ice cutting them off from just crossing simply to asia over arctic
Khorps  [author] 1 May, 2017 @ 7:44pm
I'll work on it
Koates 1 May, 2017 @ 7:44pm
ya and well asia on top of north america pretty much making center of map north pole

a flat earth map? you mean the map with Antarctica stretched along the edge of a circle?
Koates 1 May, 2017 @ 7:41pm
If you were to make a flat earth map could you add real start locations
Koates 1 May, 2017 @ 7:40pm
dope i was just thinking we neeeded a flat earth map this is close enough i hate pangea map but this looks like a winner

indeed, though it would require redoing everything and I don't just throw these maps together in a few minutes, with an even bigger size it'd take even longer. but if I have a good idea for another map I'll be sure to get it in giant size

Yeah, you would, lol :steammocking: You could download one of the giant themed maps already on the workshop, reset all resources/landmass/starting locations, and you have yourself a giant template to work with. I tried to create my own giant Pangeae and Antarctica but I had no patience and I sucked at it. You would be much better at it than me.

I don't know exactly how to create giant sized maps, but wouldn't it require me to redo the entire map on the new size?
Manitizer 15 Apr, 2017 @ 10:48pm
I wish this was a giant map :D
Khorps  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:57pm
let me know if there's some mixup in the name or something
Khorps  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:56pm
alright now it should be updated
Khorps  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:52pm
oops, accidently uploaded it as columbia supercontinent. shit
Khorps  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:42pm
yeah I'm ok with it
Obi Want A Smokey 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:41pm
sorry to nitpick, man, I could do this myself but it's your map! :)
plus I just like to play on maps with accurate climates
Khorps  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:39pm
alright
Obi Want A Smokey 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:31pm
Also the Andes technically were not fully formed in the Jurassic, as they camer about mostly in the Cretaceous so I would scale them down a bit
Obi Want A Smokey 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:28pm
it's tacked onto a huge continent now, so I would say, yes probably. The amazon exists today because of moisture carried off of the Atlantic. The interior of Gondwana (SA and Africa) would probably be very arid
Khorps  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 1:14pm
there aren't alot of mountain ranges, should there be rain shadows behind the Andes?
Obi Want A Smokey 15 Mar, 2017 @ 12:39pm
way to go, this looks much better. just some further suggestions if you care:
1. southern desert is probably a little too far south
2. rain shadows behind mountain ranges
