hi the mod works great the only thing is that the damage scaling does not work with homing rockets? and if that is something that you choose to look at do you think you could look to revert the nerf on homing rocket range as the devs nerf the lock on range a long time ago

I've tested this in-game and it seems it still works as of 2022!

My only caveat is that to repair this classic rocket launcher is very prohibitively expensive. By that I mean the repair costs for this classic rocket launcher is roughly TEN TIMES the cost to repair the vanilla, modern rocket launcher!

I mean, I love the idea of being able to use the Upgrade Station on a rocket launcher. But such costs make me question whether it's worth it.

Today I found out that Eco has left the modding, because toxic people harass her day in and out with negativity about her mods and it has broken her. It makes me sad to hear and I hope she gets better soon.

I just wanted to say that me, my brother and nephew love and appreciate ALL the work you do for the modding community for Ark. I wish more people would tell all of you modders that what you are doing is great! And not complain and bitch about things you get for free.

Thank you! I hope you never feel bad about your modding.

Oh, and also: fck toxic people they can go off and die in a corner.

@ghazlawl Question if we add the upgrade rocket launcher and tek rifle mods with this one then make a blueprint, if we remove all 3 mods do we lose the blueprints?

@ghazlawl Not sure why, but out of all the mods that we use on our server, this one is the only one that forces my game to crash to desktop on loading it. :( It only happens to me, and no one else on the server, so it must be something specific to my machine, or game install causing the issue. I'm still trying to isolate the issue specifically, but so far I haven't figured it out.

Is this a giltch i have a rocket launcher with 620.4 weapon dmg and it only does 1,150 dmg ?

Same problem like <Upgradeable Tek-Rifle>, after "Server"-restart (singleplayer) all items are gone. Tested it a few times after reinstall the mod AND start a new game with ONLY this mod.
Maybe one of the last Ark-patches has changed some paths?

I haven't heard of that happening. I'd try reinstalling the mod by manually uploading the mod files via FTP.

Everytime my server restarts, all classic rocket launcher bps despawn and any launchers made from them also despawn. Is there a way I am able to disable this or is it a bug?

Questions: Does this scale proportionately to the old rocket launcher? Asking to verify because some of the comments are making me question this. The patch notes say that the base damage of the rocket launcher was upped by 20% while they removed quality from the possible loot tables, so that means if you find a ramshackle "Classic rocket launcher" that has 120% damage that it should do the same amount of damage as the new stock launchers.

Because that was really my big take away from the change, is that massive damage nerf to the launcher. So if I can get a Classic Launcher that does 400%+ damage I would be stoked, even if it's only able to fire 5-6 rounds.

Back when vanilla rockets had quality homing missiles always did flat damage whether ascendant or primitive if that helps

@Ghazlawl I may have to add that I used the homing rockets from the Scorched Earth Plus mod, which should be identical to vanilla versions.

@soepie7 - Interesting! We can definitely take a look at the #'s. We made an educated guess after the rocket launchers were nerfed so it may be time to revisit it.

According to http://ark.gamepedia.com/Rocket_Launcher the rocket launcher should always do 1800 damage per rocket without this mod. I did less than 1500 on my 700% rocket launcher.

what is the engram name for the classic rocket launcher? I want to disable it and only keep the box thing that converts the launchers.. This is more fair for my server imo, and also the classic launcher is crafted in the inventory.. i think it should be crafted in the fab. I love your upgrade station btw, first mod I ever got :)

Ah, that is a good idea. We'll add an INI setting so admins can specify a list of items that can be upgraded that will automatically disallow any items not in it. However, this won't be in for a couple weeks. (People get mad if I update too often.) :D

Yes that's what I was asking, I added them to my custom supply drops, works fine! Thanks for this awesome mod!

Btw I'm wanting to add your other Mod the Upgrade Station to my server but I want it to only to work for Tek Armors and Weapons/Saddles.

Is there an option for that Mod to disable everything except the Tek Tier tiems?

@Ultra_FU - Currently this mod doesn't add them to supply drops automatically but it may in a future update. You are, however, currently able to add this rocket launcher to your supply drops using the supply drop configuration options in ARK.

You should make it so you dont need an upgrade station in order to upgrade it, just put a classic rocket launcher that you made by conversion in the station where you would convert the rocket launcher but instead it lets you upgrade it for "X" resources.

I prefer the base games tek tier aquisition system for the uniqueness and challenge. The tek bench mod looks well made though.

Sweet. Now I just need to delete the invisible wall on the megapithicus fight and find a way to get tek rifles to work in boss fights and all the latest dumb nerfs will be gone.
