wrong on all counts there, mister goering, OD #3 and OD #7 (the dark green shade here) were heavily interchangeable by mid to late 1943. OD #7 can be seen extensively in photos from the Normandy invasion. between these two shades, there was no "right" color for the same reason that rayon and wool chevrons are both correct, because both ended up on all variety of uniforms. the army put WAY less emphasis on matching shades of olive drab than you seem to believe, because utilitarianism came first and foremost, well before looking pretty.

The skins only work on sv_pure 0 servers I believe so playing online with them doesn't really work out to well since most character skins are restricted.

A guy doesn't truly get to appreciate this skin until he sees the way it makes rank / unit patches "pop". I like the default khaki, but this really highlights the Yankee details well.

No, I understand what he is trying to say, both factions look dark at longer ranges or at a quick glance, but if I made the color light then it wouldn't be "OD green" but "Light green" or a forest green which is not what I wanted.

The Germans wears grey/dark green uniform, and they also wear Stahlhelms, they should be pretty easy to pick apart.
