Si tu ne vas pas garder ton HGY | Bell in Medieval Engineers a-t-il été mis à jour, puis-je obtenir vos ressources pour le mettre à jour moi-même? .. Bien sûr, je vous donnerai également du crédit pour sa création.

I don't see how you lot can be demanding updates when I bet none of ya have donated or anything...... stop taking modders for granted. That or get off your own backside and make the mod yourself, then you can keep it updated all you want.

2017 Nov 08 : It is placeable and plays the sound with the "use" key in both survival and creative. Still not sure if I can craft it in survival mode, though.

@Stori : Yes, on my working folder i've to add a <Mass> tag, otherwise the mass of the bell is more than 3000 kg... for know character cannot turn the wheel, but in the future with the mechanicals blocks it'll possible! :) How have found the idea to look in physical material? ^^

@Copucat80: No need, thanks to Stori, i've juste to change few things in the mod and you'll able to do a mechanical system to ring the bell.

You're most welcome! It was just really cool to discover it. It makes a lot of new ideas possible! Oh, as a note, in order to make this work for me, I had to add a "<Mass>" to your mod. And I had to make that mass actually very low. 20 or 50. Something not really realistic. But if it's too high, our character is not strong enough to turn the turning cross and make the thing work.

That's wonderful Stori !!!! Friday, i asked myself on this purpose, if sound by hit could be possible. I have not time to search this feature this weekend, but you did it for me ! That's awesome! I don't know how i can thank you!! I've to update the mod in this way!

I just worked on a cool trick @uohcnam. If you create a new material, say, "Bell," you can attach a sound when that material hits another material, like wood. In your .SBC for the bell, you would just call your material "Bell". You would then add the Bell material in PhysicalMaterials.sbc and MaterialProperties.sbc. In MaterialProperties.sbc you would give a custom "SoundCue" in the "ContactProperty" for when the bell hits, say, wood. Then in Audio.sbc you would point that SoundCue's name to the bell. That way you could have someone actually pulling a level to ring the church bell. Here's a video I did. The bell swings back and forth, and when it hits the wooden crossbeams, it rings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHHwIVKnWqk

This is truly gorgeous! And I love the deep GONG of the bell. Also, Keen has fixed LODs for mods now. With this one having so many triangles, I'd recommend adding in some low-resolution versions for distances. Thanks for adding this.
