How does this mod impact harvesting ingredients with the Alchemist forager perk? Do the multipliers stack, or will one override the other?
ŹamorakGodsword 14 Jun, 2020 @ 7:50pm
Hey, is it possible to increase the value more? I know it is already kind of op, but I want it 2x what it is. Anyway to do that?

Ok, - sorry for going back and forth - after some research I decided to keep this fabulous mod anyway. Why? Because Mudcrab Legs and Goat Horns are the ONLY THINGS EFFECTED! Cooked Mudcrab Legs give you 12 + Health, but lets face it, you can pretty easily overcome that with other items. The Goat Horns you can buy from General Merchants and they are only needed while building a Hearthfire house. So... Not a big deal - for me at least.

Thank you for a great mod <3

Read some of the comments and learned some things. If an update to this isn't coming... :steamsad:

Why do the Mudcrab Legs (the food item) stop appearing/ falling with this mod installed. I am very - very - sad to uninstall this mod, but I need those 12+Health items (when cooked). Can you do anything about it - if you still are here/ do anything with Skyrim. Thanks.

Thank you! It never sat right with me that out of probably a 10 + group of flowers, I could only get 1. This will absolutely make it more realistic.

when I try to load this mod it sais "ERROR:Failed to extract plugin file from ckm!" any idea why? I cant play skyrim without your mod :(

Not that I'm aware of. I hope so. Not too much into Skyrim these these days but I might give this mod a revive when Skyrim Special Edition comes out so that means DLC support. I might even port it to this version idf the changes are compatible.
Dr. Giggle Touch 11 Oct, 2016 @ 2:34am
Is there every a DLC version being made? Is there another mod for dlcs that could fill the gap?
Nuggwoo Sung 20 Mar, 2015 @ 2:01pm
I know there's snowberries and mountain flowers everywhere, but I'd like it if those could be included within this mod as I can never seem to collect more than one at a time. Because I think the whole point of this mod would be so you don't to stop every second to collect a single berry from a whole bush.
Amantius, Who Suffers Day By Day 28 Aug, 2013 @ 2:36pm
Greetings Erratic, i totally love your mod and used it since you created it. But what about the DLC ingridents? It would be great if you could Update this mod or make standalone-mods for the DLC's

GREAT WORK!

Btw, subbed and faved ;3
shikyokasami 7 Jun, 2013 @ 3:09pm
The only thing that bugs me is the exessive amount of gold you can collect which I think is a little op (not compared to the ingrediants which is fine cause you still gotta increase your speech and alchemy skill(s) to make a lot of gold anyway). Other than that, this mod is excellant and I hope you make more :3
MatterMuncherLad 28 May, 2013 @ 5:35pm
@Mr.Erratic Good to know. Looking forward to the update. Thanks again for making this already awesome mod.
SerpentAI  [author] 28 May, 2013 @ 5:01pm
@MatterMuncherLad The mod was made before any Skyrim DLC came out, so it hasn't been tested with the new additions. Mudcrab Legs are new in Hearthfire and since the mod and DLC both alter the mudcrab's drop table, it is very likely there is a conflict. Once I get my hands on Hearthfire and Dragonborn, I'll make modular updates for all 3 official DLCs,
MatterMuncherLad 27 May, 2013 @ 8:53pm
I'm not sure if it's the mod or not but, mud crab legs never drop any more for me. I checked my other mods and nothing else I subscrided to would effect Mudcrab drops. Has anyone else experienced this (potential) bug?
As for the mod itself, its spectacular. It makes cost effective hunting/gathering possible and allows for fun new character builds and roles that would have been far more difficult to play.

This works great! I couldn't believe that a huge field of flowers gave the same number as a scrawny patch by the roadside - glad to have this mod to fix that!
Unoko 27 Apr, 2013 @ 7:05pm
lavender is kinda fuzzy
Unoko 25 Apr, 2013 @ 5:35pm
thank you for making harvesting easyer. i would constently complain that on screen you pick like 4 glow mishroom and only get one.
flashwitt 5 Feb, 2013 @ 1:19pm
I think there might be a slight conflict between this and "Realistic Wildlife Loot"- it seems that either one or the other works any any given time, but not both. So, I'll be harvesting 2 spiky grass, but 50lbs of Horker meat, or 6 grass pods, but only 5lbs of meat. Not sure how to overcome this. A patch might be needed somewhere. :( Love the mod though!
enchi 27 Jan, 2013 @ 10:14am
you dont have to pick everything you see, keep sustainability of resources in mind like the native americans. that way you're not lugging around truckloads of stuff you dont need.
Dasneezequeen 8 Dec, 2012 @ 8:54am
Great mod, but be careful it is very easy to become encumbered. I think after one round of gathering I had about 150 blue mountain flowers.
DeathClaw 29 Nov, 2012 @ 7:32am
I'm a huge alchemy fan and I really like this mod.
crystalsea72 12 Oct, 2012 @ 7:26pm
I agree with Cele to an extent, I maybe don't have to pick 7 flowers at a time. Then again after you get done with all the alchemy testing required to find out what ingredients have what effects a lot of ingredients are wasted. But, of course I have the light weight ingredients mod so that carrying 100+ of anything isn't a big deal because it weighs nothing. :) But what I really like best about this mod is now I don't feel so desperate to grab every single ingredient that I find because I know I'm going to end up using hundreds of them, I don't have to leave my follower fending for themselves because I have to go grab that one piece of garlic hanging over there because they're rare, and hey its so nice that deer have two antlers now! THANK YOU! :D

I have tested this mod for quite some time now. What I suggest is that you limit the number of ingredients given to a max of 2 (or 3). Otherwise it's getting ridicilous how many creep clusters and especially flowers of any kind you receive. Soon you'll be creating over 50 potions and the alchemy skill is maxed out. I know it's not "realistic" how a big bush of flowers gives out only 1 or 2 but for the sake of balance you should tweak it a little bit.

I also noticed how mudcrabs give out 5 (!) chitins at a time.

I like the "flora coinpurses". Of course a purse could have theoretically anything between 1-500 gold in it, which makes a nice touch to the game unlike the <40 gold in low level and then level adjusted all the way to the top + it gives a feeling of success when you raid a small bandit camp and find a purse with over 200 gold pieces...when low level!

I give this mod 8/10. Do tweak the amount of flora received. It's hard not to abuse the amount of ingredients received

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I continued playing the game with the mod and the only thing I found was off so far is that Falmers sometimes will have 3 ears on them. I have already corrected this on my end but was waiting to see if anything else would surface up before publishing to the workshop. If you see anything that is either not realistic, or feels like it doesn't give enough or too much, don't be shy and post a comment on the page so I see it.

Ratings are appreciated. I was really surprised to see the mod on the 2nd page of the weekly most popular. Keep it up!

@freeasabird420 I'd love a mod like that too. The thing is they took out renaming stuff (potions, spells, enchanted items etc.) from the game engine itself, so it's pretty much impossible to mod that back in at the moment with the tools we have. Our best bet is that SKSE will continue being developed the way it is and that some genius scripter will figure out a way to do it. *fingers crossed*
SerpentAI  [author] 19 Aug, 2012 @ 10:03am
@Yosticus Yes, this mod is responsible for the changes to coinpurses too. Believe it or not, coinpurses are considered flora in the game so they are "harvested" like plants. This also means that they aren't leveled. Rather, they come in various sizes (small, medium, large), each with their own minimum amount + some random small amount. Since you can come across them at any level, if you find a large one early on, it will seem like a large amount. I've made sure that small coinpurses never go under 50 gold and that the large ones rarely if ever go over 500 gold (you would have to be extremely lucky for that to happen). I see them as rewarding collectibles, a thing that they never were in the original game.

First off, thanks a lot for this mod, it's great and awesome for alchemists. One thing is that I noticed when I loot coinpurses they now have 300gold (at level 5) instead of like 30... not that I mind at all, of course. I think it's probably this mod that's causing that?
Freeasabird🕊 18 Aug, 2012 @ 7:55pm
Hay, this is an alright mod. i sometime live the "life" of an alchemist myself, so this mod should be pritty usefull. but do u think u can make a mod that allows you to name your own potions?, like in oblivion
YumIceMocha 17 Aug, 2012 @ 1:26pm
I play as an assassin and i love using alchemy to make poisons, this mod is exactly what i need, ty soo much!
Yorishimo 16 Aug, 2012 @ 2:33am

Orcslayer 12 Aug, 2012 @ 2:46am

Osta 11 Aug, 2012 @ 4:13pm
This mod is exactly what I needed! Thanks bro!
