For those that want a short explanation on how to use it.

Right click the clip, > Edit Clip > Set Clip Overlay.

Omg, steakknife. U have a lot to learn about film making with the rule of thirds. Also not everyone can afford a good enough editing program that can implement the letterbox effect.
