SuperDigga 4 Dec, 2021 @ 3:22am

Neri 2 Dec, 2021 @ 5:19pm
Any possibility of a LWOTC build?
SuperDigga 13 May, 2020 @ 11:54am
indeed, do we have a ETA for a final LWOTC build?
m.r.g.b.138 13 May, 2020 @ 10:37am
Hello there. Version of this for LWOTC great.
Colossus715 5 May, 2020 @ 1:43pm
@Super

I don't mess with the INIs. I just install the MOD with defaults.
SuperDigga 5 May, 2020 @ 11:46am
@Colossus715 if I may ask
I changed the ini as to get more psi abilities but when they max the ranks they dont advance/train to get them. Do you have any clue what else to change in the ini?
JackieNCB 5 May, 2020 @ 11:20am
Please, Please, Please make this for WOTC LW2. This would be the best!!!!
Johnny_exe 24 Apr, 2020 @ 11:20pm
Hello there. Version of this for WOTC LW2 Perk Pack would be Great.
Colossus715 2 Apr, 2020 @ 5:39am
@Super

No worries. Glad you figured it out. I had trouble the 1st time as well.
SuperDigga 1 Apr, 2020 @ 10:26pm
@Colossus715 I figured that hours later but forgot to erase my comment. Thanks anyway!!!
Colossus715 1 Apr, 2020 @ 4:49am
@Super

You have to stick them back into the Psi Lab for training.
MrMister 27 Feb, 2020 @ 2:12am
Besides LWOTC, what I'd really, REALLY like is a version of this for the stabdalobe WOTC LW2 Perk and Class pack.

Hey man love the mod, just a quick question, what file do I have to change and what line to I have to edit in order to allow a psi op to gain all 24 skills? aka allowing them to level up after Magus more or less.

that was all, cheers!
InterventoR 27 Dec, 2019 @ 2:23am
I deeply agree opinions posted below. Since mods like Iridar's More Psi Abilities are out there, even more opportunity for expansion exist now.
ptr 29 Nov, 2019 @ 8:50am
Yeah would love this being compatible with LWotC!

Now that the LWOTC Beta has been released, it would be great to see this mod updated to work with that.

Psi Operatives are still the forgotten stepchild of LW2; that hasn't changed in LWOTC. This was a vast improvement to psionics in LW2.

FWIW, I agree with @engager6 that the psi-tube training times should be reduced. I'm not so sure I agree with the proposed damage buffs, but less time wasted in the tubes (compared to soldiers going on missions in the meantime) would provide better balance. I edited the training times myself in LW2.
engager6 1 Sep, 2019 @ 9:58am
My main point is: having more abilities you made is nice, sure, but this is all worthless effort until you buff their main damaging potential. Without that buff psi op is just a trash class, while according to the game lore they should be exactly the opposite. I played 2 total LW2 campaigns with this changes and usually bring one psi soldier on most missions (one some tough ones i sometime bring 2). With buffs in place they are useful part of my team, while in vanilla LW2 they are just worthless tube sitters and have little or no use in the game.
engager6 1 Sep, 2019 @ 9:55am
Really like your mod it adds to LW2 nicely. Completed at leat 2 full LW compains with it and have some remarks. It does buff PSI Ops, but they still never worth investment. To make them worth leveling and actually getting on the missions main damage dealing abilities should be buffed considerably. I changed XComGameData_WeaponData.ini of LW2 to buff them as follows (psi amp/adv psi amp/alien psi amp): Soulfire 6/9/12 ; Null Lance 10/16/22 ; Void Rift 8/10/16. Also training times should be reduced dramatically, for psi op abilities to progress at aprox. the same rate as normal soldiers, one should change values at LW2 XComGameData.ini (XComHeadQuaters_PsiTrainingDays to 2/2/3/4 and PsiTrainingRankScalar to 2/3/4/5. With those changes their skills/damage output remains usefull along campaign and makes this class viable and worth taking on missions.

Anyone else experiencing more crashing after installing this MOD?
Colossus715 24 Jul, 2019 @ 11:29am
@the author

It's amazing what you can find out when you read. Thank you for a detailed description sir!
Thalioden 30 Apr, 2019 @ 2:10pm
I loved this in LW2. It would really like to see a version for WOTC.
KILLERm12 5 Jan, 2019 @ 9:58pm
any chance there will be a WOTC update?
4rrakis 22 Dec, 2018 @ 3:26pm
@alex33x: This is a mod for LW2. LW2 does not work with WotC.
ØGThor 22 Dec, 2018 @ 3:10pm
Does this work with War of the Chosen?
tiktaalik 15 Nov, 2018 @ 2:49am
Huh... Given that I only played half vanilla campaign before I started LW2, I could swear that plain Stasis worked on allies. I might be wrong though.
LeaderEnemyBoss  [author] 15 Nov, 2018 @ 2:14am
You need stasis shield in order to use it on your ally (as in vanilla)
tiktaalik 14 Nov, 2018 @ 10:26pm
Nice mod! Question: have you changed something to Stasis? It used to be able to affect an ally, now it seems to work only on enemies. Or maybe this is a LW2 change?...
Glassia The Tower 9 Jul, 2018 @ 8:35pm
Could you please tell me what to modify to be able to train all psi abilities? I liked being able to do that in vanilla X-COM 2.
LeaderEnemyBoss  [author] 27 May, 2018 @ 7:07am
Oh, thats simple to explain: the firaxis default launcher is a buggy mess that should burn in hell.-
DrunkenFrenchman 27 May, 2018 @ 6:37am
Worked when using the alt launcher. Don't know what thats about but thanks for your mod!
LeaderEnemyBoss  [author] 25 May, 2018 @ 6:04pm
It works retroactively. If you do not see the new promotion scree, you need to refresh your configs (most straight forward way is deleting the contents of your xcom config folder under my documents)
DrunkenFrenchman 25 May, 2018 @ 2:03pm
Does this mod work retroactively mid campaign? Have a LW@ campaign and made my officers PSI ops but they're underwheliming and would love to use this mod. ACtivating it does not seem to work though, do I need to start a new game?
SentySent 13 Apr, 2018 @ 11:29am
Will you consider porting the new Psi Op perks to WOTC?
gus 7 Apr, 2018 @ 5:25pm
is there a way to get 2 skills per level?
Kick_Ass (film) 1 Apr, 2018 @ 1:57am
Leader, I wanted to thank you for this mod.

Was midway through LW2 one time, had a Magus level PSI Trooper, only to then realise LW2 had limited skill points, and needed skills in specific order:steamhappy:
TannerA 18 Mar, 2018 @ 7:33pm
please:steamhappy:
TannerA 18 Mar, 2018 @ 7:33pm
make this for wotc
Majoras 15 Mar, 2018 @ 2:50am
That's ok, a dream will remain a ream xD. Hopefully someone makes something as good, but this was a damn good mod. Good luck in your further ventures!
LeaderEnemyBoss  [author] 15 Mar, 2018 @ 2:39am
Sorry that probably wont happen, Since it relies on a lot of LW2 specific stuff it would require more tim than I can currently put into modding.
Majoras 14 Mar, 2018 @ 10:52pm
I'm always checking back here to see if this mod ever gets ported to wotc. Genuinly the best experience I had using psi was with this mod.
LeaderEnemyBoss  [author] 11 Mar, 2018 @ 1:35am
@Lani Could you specify your issue? PsiOps need to get experience like normal soldiers in LW2, this is nothing new.
Lani 10 Mar, 2018 @ 8:28pm
Does not allow you continue to get promotions, does not work beyond the first set of skills. Dont see anyway to allow them to progress at all. Was a waste of my solders. :(
Void 18 Feb, 2018 @ 3:24am
What are those starting 5 skills?
Erazil 20 Jan, 2018 @ 8:46pm
hi
agree with Richard, make version of this mod for WOTC ( if is possible ) could be nice ( and make me happy ;) )
gus 18 Jan, 2018 @ 2:22pm
;Number of psi abilities from the new branch a fresh initiative gets awarded for free
AdditionalPsiBonusAbilities = xx

does not work :(
Tynian 17 Jan, 2018 @ 6:50am
Could you please make it WOTC compatible ? I loved playing it in LW2 and dearly miss it while playing WOTC, you really did make psio great again ^^
And they do need the boost in WOTC if they want to be competitives with the faction heroes and the bots.
Richard 9 Jan, 2018 @ 12:25pm
Could you make version of this mod for WOTC please?
LeaderEnemyBoss  [author] 26 Nov, 2017 @ 3:43pm
Probably. But they wont get any of the new abilities, since they are essentially their own class.
The Informant 26 Nov, 2017 @ 6:52am
So, is this mod compatible with Psi Rookies?
