Great mod, how is compatibility with EEM (Exploration Enhancement Mod) at the moment?

@Naetrimus The Corruption PvE Combat mod adds custom unobtainable weapons/ammo for npcs. You should check the description of that mod. Also you might have encountered the boss that has a special script that uses it's front camera as laser cannon, with effects and damage of course.

One of the mods above added a laser weapon to one of the hostile ships in my game. I don't play with any modded weapons on that particular save, so I'm wondering if someone could tell me which mod added a laser weapon.

@Meridius_IX / Lucas - how do I set the spawns to allow when far away from Galactic Center? I am about one LY on the -X axis the spawns do not happen way out here.

I bought this game and installed about 90% of the collection and haven't removed them since. Honestly the best part of SE is this collection, with or without a massive mod list.

I haven't built a mod yet that requires a new save, and hopefully will never have to - so you're good to go!

These look fantastic. I would like to add some of these to my existing save. Do any of these require a fresh new savefile or can I add these to my existing game and will it generate the buildings and ships appropriately?

agreed, but honestly, @meridius_IX /Lucas, its a matter of people aren't paying attention to how the mod runs, admittedly this mod doesn't agree very well with EEM, but I don't even have issue with that, I run EEM and MES together, with 0 issues, have been since January of 2018

The mods work on servers. If you're getting crashing, provide a log - otherwise I cannot investigate

Works great in single player but is there a version of this mod (Modular Encounters) that works in a dedicated server without crashing it? I think one time i got it to run for 17 minutes before it crashed...

I also only see SPRT. Occasionally I get spawns from Assertive Cargo Ships, but even on a world without it loaded, all we get is SPRT.

I cant seem to get anything to spawn other than SPRT even when using the reavers mod and coruption pve mod. Is there a certain way to set up the advanced settings before starting a world?

Yes, but ensure you read the mod descriptions - especially for the cargo ship rate mods, since those should not be used together (for obvious reasons)

So, if I want to add some more npc activity (both friendly and evil) both on planet and space, what is the minimum to add? Does this affect the 15 or so NPC factions that are already there?

hi, im using some the mods on a server and i cant get a hydrogen ship to work. it all comes on but will not move. any help would be good

While using that rotation of mods, that's about accurate (except for ships appearing as SPID). Corruption has its own unique faction, but they only spawn in space. Stations on planets only appear as you explore further

Hello o/ I am currently using MES, NPC programming extended, Surface Occupation, Air Traffic, Corruption and Wave Spawner in my single player survival game.

I am currently on the Earth-like planet and so far i have only seen hostile ships trundling around, they all belong to the SPRT or SPID factions. Now I haven't really left the area that I spawned in yet and the those are the only two factions that aren't Unknown to me so far so I suspect this is totally normal behavior but I just wanted to check.

@bearhiderug - This collection doesn't contain any respawn ships. As far as I know, these mods will not interfere with those types of mods.

I've got some framework for that to be allowed, but I don't have any mods that use it yet. I think one of the More Encounters mods is either using it or will be soon.

Is it already possible to trade with npc ships using the economy feature? Basically moving trading stations that approach you, maybe even try to chat with you using the antenna or beacon hud text.

All of this works together unless otherwise specified (spawn rate mods shouldn't be used together)

I've intentionally left out the NPC weapons upgrade mod because I have some OP weapon mods and I'm just trying to get a base built right now. It isn't on my world, it wasn't on there when I made the world, and it still isn't. So I'm confused as to why the NPC ships are armed with those weapons

I seem to have fixed the problem. A smart turret AI mod was overloading the server CPU.

Anyone why I might be getting server crashes and client CTDs with this mod? I'm not sure it's specifically this mod that might be causing it, but if I destroy any of the NPC atmospheric ships, the server will often crash as they start to fall apart. Anyone have any ideas? I also have the drag mod installed and a weapons mod (laser turrets).

Muahahaha, the upgraded version of the Mobile Drilling Platform surprised me when I tried to capture one ^^ It was too easy before :p
