This mod is still working. You can load into the game with and without the mod to see all the differences. When I updated it in 2019 I left a lot of the countries with the default colors of the new update because they changed almost every country tag which made it very annoying to update, so it will look different from the screenshots but it still works

Ok. Cause this looks like a really amazing mod and I really wanna use it

I haven't updated it in a long time and MD has changed a lot. I can try to look at it soon

Why doesn't mine look like this? I know the screenshots are outdated but surely its not just a mod that changes Germany from grey to blue

Note: I will probably update shortly after the major MD update on May 25th.

The mod should finally work again

The 1.5.1 update broke submods, so this mod will not work until that is fixed. Supposedly the 1.5.2 update fixes this bug, and if so I will update when that's released.

Open the .mod file in any text editor. The first line will be:
name="Millennium Dawn: Modern Day Mod"

Just add a z to the beginning of the name there, save, and everything should be good.

how did you get the split nations? Is it a mod or just commands to show the colors?

@jean.halverson64 I change the name of Millennium Dawn in the .mod file to "zMillennium Dawn" and WW's Map works fine.

how do you use ww's map with millennium dawn if it isnt even compatible?

@sawlan I am having the same issue. I know they removed some countries in the newest update, which is definitely what's causing the issue. I'll have an update out within a few hours

There seems to be some glitch, where some of the colours revert back to the original MD colours, and some just turn dark red, for instance, the whole of Africa besides Egypt and Libya turned dark red. Is it another mod that I have on?

I'm not really that much into the color for Belarus (mainly because the color is almost like Russia's). I'm thinking you could change it to white like in Kaiserreich or gray like Germany in HOI3.

It will work even if it has the out of date exclamation point. If Millennium Dawn adds a new country in an update let me know and I can update this mod to give it a color.

I'm making a mod where the german reich won ww2 and it is 2000. can i use your leader portraits? It would be highly appreciated.

I will update when this mod causes issues with MD. As far as I can tell it works perfectly well with the new version of the game. A red exclamation mark won't hurt you

This mod doesn't edit those. Millennium Dawn does, so you may want to talk to them about localization

No, I was talking about the national focal points, the tree research and descriptions of events. Yes, I could translate them and provide you with a translation for installation in the mod, but I actually need the text :)

This mod does not alter any localisation files, if that is what you're saying. If you are talking about the mod description I would gladly add a Russian version if you did the translating :)

How do i make my country fascist from nationalist in MD?

I made it so. France has a proper French Blue and Sweden has a light blue similar to vanilla

Another suggestion, perhaps either switch sweden's and Frances colours or give France a more "French Blue" colour.

Update includes darkened Ireland, Norway and Turkey back to red, fixing up the Caucusus region, tweaks in Africa, and more. If anyone has any more suggestions let me know
