Just stepping by to say: this is the best theme I have seen in a long time. Love it.
Playing a "tropical map" in a temperate setting and it really fits.
Really good job.
To everybody wondering: just get it an see for yourself. Its awsome!:hardhat:

The sand is super bright, is that more my LUT than the theme? Or is there a way i can change the theme?

Any chance you could update the cliff texture somehow? I really like it, but I do detailing so I'm often seeing the cliff texture up close and it's not very high quality. It's the ONLY thing that needs updating, but I know it might be the hardest to improve. :/

Thank you so much, I love the pavement!! :) Used with Theme mixer, it's perfect for my city!

After using this pavement theme, the proportion of cement brushes and floor tiles in assets is different. What is the reason?

KANAKY!!! :)

The Vanilla pine trees appear to be unavailable when I load a vanilla map with this theme activated. Anything (even custom parks) that once used those trees now have the default bushy trees instead. Is there any way I can get them back in myself, and use this theme at the same time?
Excrucian 30 Dec, 2017 @ 3:38pm
Apparently though I can manually do it in game with the theme mixer mod, and I have to choose each one I want. Is that the way it's supposed to be done?
Excrucian 30 Dec, 2017 @ 3:31pm
I'm probably not understanding something, but I got it, it's "on" but I cannot choose it in any way. No matter where I go to look at the saved game, new game or in game it's not there. Any info would be appreciated since I'm pretty sure the issue is me lol.

@Brigitte @IceTemple If you go to load game click on the map you want, then another map, then back to your map you should see it in themes for the option!
IceTemple 27 Nov, 2017 @ 2:07pm
@Birgitte before you load your game, go to Map Themes, untick your theme, then retick it, then load your game. That should fix your issue. You have to do this every time.

What I don't get is that when I use this theme it works perfectly -- but when I reload that game, later on, the vanilla pavement returns, looking awful. Some mod conflict on my end, maybe?

Beautiful. The pavement texture seriously reduces the need to add decals everywhere because it already looks nice.

In a perfect world, "fertile" resource areas wouldn't be quite so yellow, but your theme has come the closest to making every texture and resource just the color I'd like!

It doesn't work and i don't know why: the pavement and all the other decals remain the same as vanilla.
The game doesn't show me any message error, simply it's like the map theme isn't there.

Wow nice !:steamhappy:

Hey Bisabeol, here is a screenshot of a map in progress. Beautiful theme! https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=897001433&tscn=1491149551

Hey LegionOfMe, it's actually not that huge. All it does is instead of loading the default game's textures, it loads these custom ones. They're basically the same size files, so it's load 50 MB of default textures, or 50MB of custom. Now, if the custom ones are giant 4K ones, that might make a difference (but hasn't for me it seems) Hope that makes sense?
LegionOfMe 27 Mar, 2017 @ 5:19am
Looks absolutely stunning!
Best map theme I have seen so far.
Sad though that the theme is so huuuuuuuuuuge (51 MB). Is there a way around the size?

WOW!! Just the water is a little bit too blue for me. But, really wow :steamhappy:

Hi MrMiyagi, thank you for your response. Indeed I am very familiar with the decal pavement/cobblestone/ what ever solution. There are plenty of awsome decals out there and for the variety I appreciate them much. But decorating all of the plazas, squares and boardwalks all over the city, takes a vast amout of time and much to my regret I am too lazy about doing so.
It'd be nice if it would be possible to separate these two things.
Thanks anyway.
MrMiyagi 24 Mar, 2017 @ 2:22pm
Hi zefilipe, like bisabeols says, use the Concrete version, and wherever you want cobblestone, you can use large decals with the Decal Prop Fix & More Beautification mods. Thare are so many decals and they work great! The cobblestone is here, check out the rest of Ronyx's shop https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=888755376

@zefilipe
You should use the Concrete Version (the other New Caledonia Map Theme) for industry, because it can't apply two type of pavement

unfortunately the concrete and the pavement is the same thing. I love the pavement in this theme but for larger areas like industrial yards or parking lots it won't fit in my opinion. Am I wrong?
koxx  [author] 24 Mar, 2017 @ 10:39am
@MrMiyagi
Thanks comments. I'm using it well which you uploaded N.C Map
MrMiyagi 24 Mar, 2017 @ 10:22am
Beautifully done!!! <3 I love these two, very nice textures!!! :steamhappy:
