@Squee Yep, it's working! Awesome, thanks!

Should be fixed. Thanks for all the feedback that helped fixing it.

Ah thanks. I will check it out. I didn't think of the other orientations.. As for the source, that only applies to web wallpapers. Scenes are compiled into a single file.

@Squee Also I didn't know the code for wallpapers was so accessible! I might get to doing something on my own to a couple of my favorites now that I know that.

@Squee Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry I just saw this. Here, this is what I'm talking about https://i.imgur.com/gXaQk5X.png . As you can see, it looks like the whole wallpaper is shifted to the left. I don't know what format you want my settings in so here it is in raw JSON: https://pastebin.com/CU6BMfC9 and here it is in Base64: https://pastebin.com/LjTTqNV6 .

@Dream That sounds weird. I can max out the value count but it still remains full screen for me. Could you supply a screenshot demonstrating the bug? Or maybe post your settings under the discussions tab at the top of this page?

Also, I am more than willing to fix any bugs if I can reproduce them. If you want to check out the (horrible js) code yourself, right click on the wallpaper and select "Open in explorer". The main code is all in the index.html. Does not include comments tho.

@Squee Hey, I really like this wallpaper, but there seems to be a bug when you increase the number of squares: it shifts/resizes the wallpaper to the right and leaves a significant portion of the screen blank. If you don't want to fix this, then could you let me see the source so I may fix it myself?

Well, if you ever happen to re-write this or make completely new spectrum analyzer wallpaper, be sure to notify me/us here!
Squee  [author] 2 Dec, 2018 @ 6:46pm
@Toj Karin .. First one should be easy enough and i'll keep it in mind, but can't really say if I will get around to it. But the second, I think it might not work out as the code is just not written with that in mind.

This is awesome. But there are two features I'd love to see here. One is to have only one spectum going about and not mirrored. Then I'd love to see static update coordinate and the rest of the image moving away from it. The latter is crucial for me and the only reason, I'm not using this wallpaper(nevertheless, I use one of your other WPs).

@Kaittycat .. I can't promise .. I do have such a feature in other wallpapers of mine and it should be easy enough, but I still have a whole list of wishes I still haven't fulfilled that would come first.

This is by far my favorite wallpaper! I have been using it for weeks now, it's so great! You did an awesome job!

I do have a request/suggestion, though, would it be possible to get a Foreground Image option, something to use with transparent PNGs that would be in front the effects? I would love to be able to put some character art in the foreground so they aren't obscured by the graphics.

I just checked out a couple of your wallpaper and I gotta say,
They are the best I can find. All the customization is really cool and they all just look so great.
Squee  [author] 27 Mar, 2017 @ 5:56pm
Great :steamhappy:

Well done, I love how many settings there are I can play with, currently I am on 80% responsiveness, Volume level 3 and I turned fade and bass glow off just because I love how this visualization can visualize my music, thanks!

@Renekie Yeah .. not a fan of clocks in wallpapers . I never start creating wallpapers with the idea of needing a clock in them. Some almost got a clock but I just couldn't find the motivation to really add of finish them and prefered to work on other options or something new.
Renekie 26 Mar, 2017 @ 4:51am
And if u want me to translate any Chinese comment, i can help, i think i can do a better job than google translator
Renekie 26 Mar, 2017 @ 4:49am
I realized none of ur wallpaper has clock, not a fan of that?
Squee  [author] 25 Mar, 2017 @ 4:19pm
I could check, I did want to add something like that ( but make them larger ) later on. But any values for those would just be averages as I can't get more audio data then I am already showing. And making them small goes against all optimisations I built in by causing the wallpaper to draw more :) But it should work if fading options are disabled or kept very low.

As for the speed, right now the speed is linked to audio frames. So I draw a new column per audio frame data I receive. I do want to look into adding a speed slider too, but not entirely sure how that will work out yet.

But first I want to be able to change the direction and colors first. And a margin option to raise it above the taskbar.
Rhy 25 Mar, 2017 @ 4:04pm
Would it be possible to make the squares even smaller and add more of them?
Maybe altering the speed of the scan line would be fun too!
Squee  [author] 25 Mar, 2017 @ 2:16pm
@Ass That was the validation I needed in my life. My life is complete now :beatmeat:

@Butz My wallpapers would also require a lot more cpu usage with more detail. I would fear the results. And I would have to rewrite them all as they all assume the 64 values per channel as it is now.

@Renekie At the risk of sounding rude, but I am not really looking for new friends ( which is why I decline 99% of all FL requests ). That doesn't mean I don't like the interaction with people on steam, or that I have anything against some you or someone else.

My mom likes it:LIS_pixel_heart:

We should push the author of WE to enable Web Audio API in the next update. Seriously I think some of your visualizers should look better with a higher resolution of FFT, or maybe even waveform data lol
Renekie 24 Mar, 2017 @ 5:56pm
can i be ur friend?
Renekie 24 Mar, 2017 @ 5:56pm
wow dude...
