@mattvogel It's unlikely that any of the assets will work properly in the map editor. I have never tested it.

I have an upstream and downstream in the correct place. But, when I set it to have gravity of any type, it still is giving the same warnings. Now, I'm getting landfill full even though the two culverts are connected. I'm doing this in the map editor, which is the reason why I have it set to no control, to prevent flooding of a small stream near Peninsula, Ohio called Furnace Run when it passes under interstate 271. I did try placing a detention basin and connected it, with no gravity or control, but it's saying it needs water and it's just not functioning.

I've just replaced the downstream culvert and it works now, it's just that now the downstream culvert is saying no place for goods, even with no gravity.

@mattvogel Did you built two upstream culverts? culverts have two versions one for upstream that functions as an inlet, and one for downstream that functions as an outlet? Other possibility is that you manually turned one of them off.

On a side note. Culverts and "no control" don't really work that well together. Part of the fun of modeling culverts is that the water from the upstream culvert should be coming out of the downstream culvert. With "no control" the water goes in the upstream culvert, comes out a random outlet, while water from any inlet on the map will come out of the downstream culvert. Also "no control" and gravity set to ignore can very easily produce loops.

Gravity is also set to ignore

I have it set to no control, and I connected an inlet to an outlet, but the inlet is saying landfill full while the outlet is saying no place for goods.

@Cowboy probably not. . . The only way I can think that might work would probably mess up the accounting of how the storm water is accumulated/distributed. Maybe I’ll look into it at some point but I definitely have higher priorities when I actually return to working on this project.

So i know in the description it does say it flows in bursts instead of continuous. However is there a way we can make it a continuous flow? i am using it for a ditch project i am doing and with the bursts it doesnt look good at all. As well as makes the downstream end super unstable. Not complaining just asking to see if its possible/maybe i missed something etc. Thanks in advance yall and happy building.

Do you have an actual screenshot on how to place this asset? I tried to place it at a river edge, however, I can't seem to put some "soil/mound" behind the wall in order to cover the "outfall pipes" per se

@Tri I believe it was fixed in April according to the change notes for rainfall.

Hi! Any update if the concerns stated by previous commenters were already addressed? I'd love to use this as my gravity drainage outfall instead of using the current gravity drainage outfall asset (the one with a structure)

@Analyst Actually, I think I realized what is causing it. I tried to make it so the mod would load the props whilst placing the asset because I don't like how you can't see the inlets or culvert when you're placing them, but it didn't work. Unfortunately I didn't remove the line of code that I added and I think it's causing the problem. Hopefully I will have time to test and fix it soon.

@Analyst I think you can delete the props with move it mod. I have no idea how this started happening. Was the flood spawners thing possibly a retention basin asset that got too close to an inlet? I've had that cause extreme water spawning before.

I can't remove the props either. Another really weird one probably very related you know your flood spawner? You know how props randomly appeared on the map, imagine how surprised I was when one spawned right in the middle of my city. I was like, did I just hit an underground gaiser? Nope, shit...

Disabling the flood spawners fixed the problem... still I think grimlins have gotten into the game code..

Screenshot added.
It appears the assets are being duplicated onto the map... weird. Love your mod by the way.

@Analyst that's strange sorry. I heard strange reports about props randomly appearing.

Broke a map I was playing on... Arrowhead valley somehow the assets became detached and causing a 6 FPS drop around that asset
