Skosh, thanks for playing and commenting. I'm sorry for the problem of the rotation issue, as this is the first time it has been reported to me. I do know, from my own play testing, the rotation can mess-up if an object is too close to the walls; and so I posted a sign from "GlaDos" about it and how to fix it. Rotating game fields are difficult to make; I was surprised it even worked when I first began to create it (in Hammer) several years ago.

The left button changes the direction of the vortex in preparation into the next puzzle when you open the door.

Did not matter where I stood. I suspect that I messed up the program by going out of sequence. I see now that I primed the gel pump in an unintended manner. I did get up to the roof and into the glass hallway and found 2 pedestals there. I was wondering what the second pedestal did since I did not see any effect.

Must be a engine fluke that you rotated and not the room! Where were you standing? The smile face is just another lock. Go to the roof, find the stairs down into the glass windowed hall way, see the smile marked button, press. Sorry I didn't see your comment earlier. I'm not here often these days.

Very nice map. Love the visual effects. Somewhat confusing. Not sure how I did it, but I managed to get all the exit boxes checked except for the 4 dots. A that point, when I activated rotation, I rotated but the room did not. Is that supposed to happen? Also what is the purpose of the second pedestal in the smiley face room? Did that have something to do with the room rotation? .

Yes, it's explained in the Welcome Room inside the game. ;-) I'm from Arizona where these ancient Indian ruins actually exist.

Casa grande.
That´s neat
Never knew somebody would´ve use a portuguese word on naming something for the workshop.
So for those who dont get what it means:
It means > Big house
Nothing too fancy.
(Note:NOT using google translator,i´m native from a portuguese speaking country)
Just a intereseting to point out.

It is. I may eventually do more maps if I can get the P2 Publisher to work.

this is so weird. i had saved where i was stuck. while i was playing the only number that was there dot wise was the four. when i went back to play it today all the signage is here , that makes it alot better now i know where everything goes. very weird
jandlml 31 Jan, 2019 @ 5:45pm
thanks i will try again

Ok, you gotta get the 2 dot and X signs turned into gold check marks, then the square small window door opens and stays open. Ratate the cube building to the red start arrow in the ceiling and stop (use ball). The lazer hits the 4 dot sign and gives a gold check. All that is left is the smile face.
Chippoka  [author] 31 Jan, 2019 @ 2:46am
I still occasionally check these. I forget. Let me go back and look.

Yes, when I made this I was uneducated in how to activate auto saves. I appologize. Hopefully I'll be able to do an update and fix it (I have been having trouble with the workshop accepting updates from P2_Publisher lately).

Successfully completed the first part, failed on the second through missing a key area to paint and had to use noclip to complete. Wasn't willing to restart the whole thing to do it right, but I'll play it as the separate map. Lot of back and forth in the laser room and clipping did strange things during the rotation, sometimes pushing me around the room. Actually for me, the toughest part was getting the ball into the funnel, I'm terrible at throwing. Beautiful and fiendish, as per usual. Thanks for creating.

Its a very hard puzzle. I didn't intend for it to be that way, so I'm trying not to make these hard anymore. The key is to direct the lasers through the portals, glass, cubes, and holes so that the lasers hit more than one thing at the same time, including the launch plate by the Aperature Sign. The lasers will travel at strange angles to reach their destinations. The hands on the ceiling are hints for where to stop the rotation so to then do stuff with the lasers. The laser cube must be put on top of another cube in order to solve one of the puzzles to then get the orange gel turned-on. There is no video. I'll see if I can figure a way to make one.

This map, the second half, has undergone a major up-date. It is also now a seperate level called "GlaDos' Revenge" in my Workshop.

Excellent work, lot of creativity !
Some points are difficult to understand, but you deserve all my respects for this work !
Thumbs up

I was afraid some might get stuck with the lasers; then next map that follows them is worth a visit. I may need to split-out the second map from this so that it will have more chances of being played and enjoyed. Anyway, for the laser room, watch the moving red arrows on the ceiling. When they align with the red hands, then stop the rotation and try to get the lasers available at that point to reach laser receivers (indoors and outdooors).

I've played 3 of your marvelous maps and found each of them absolutely baffling. Lots of nice work but I have no idea where to go to solve your puzzles. Gave up in the laser room. Thanks for creating again.
Chippoka  [author] 26 Mar, 2017 @ 5:46am
Which puzzle set was more difficult? The first (with the lasers) or the second (with the paint)?
Aleskei 26 Mar, 2017 @ 3:29am
Nice map. Difficulty : Medium-Hard and wait for your next map. Thumbs up :p2wheatley:
