@Flynn Taggart
That's a brilliant idea. Surprised nobody's thought of it yet.
wm1 enjoyer 22 Jul, 2017 @ 2:07am
Create a compilation of you executing killmoves to this, and time the strikes to the beat of the music. So, when a relaxing "ding" happens, have the visuals match it with a nice, hefty strike to a giant's skull. Perhaps when the short series of "dings" occur, have some rapid-fire killmove cuts!
Ollie 18 Jul, 2017 @ 1:53am
oh, my god that's amazing

@BeardMan
That's exactly what I was thinking when I first thought of the idea for this mod.

Although I'm not going to download the mod, I am going to say I love bossa nova and hope to play it one day on my guitar. This earns the Gnomey seal of approval.

Face the music, and use it. For comedic things. If its possible could you re place the battle song with wake of the martyrs? ^-^
Alistair 20 Jun, 2017 @ 1:01am
Im suppose to be annoyed by this music... but I just cant stop listening to it. WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME?
Chocolate Milk  [author] 17 Jun, 2017 @ 2:38pm
@a shovel, with attitude
same lmao
(love the name btw)
vmfstorm1 16 Jun, 2017 @ 4:08pm
this should just play all the time. load screens, combat, stealthing, during conversations, hell there should just be an npc somewhere that just talks in this music
Sarei 16 Jun, 2017 @ 2:24pm
This will be so absurd for stealth, getting caught and trying to escape and hide again to this track...
Krogg 13 Jun, 2017 @ 11:15pm
perfect, my character is a pychopath from the future with one goal in mind: kill everyone, and what fighting music best describes his pycho pathic tendencies than elevator music? slaughtering everybody while calm, collected elevator music plays. I love it!

Alrighty, good news everybody! Based on your feedback, I've updated the mod so that it's now only the shorter version of the song that plays (albeit with the awkward 2-3 second long pauses between clips) rather than the hour-long clip. It should hopefully not freeze the game before beginning to play anymore. If it does, let me know in the comments again and I'll see if there's anything I can do. I don't believe this made the mod size any smaller because the hour-long clip still exists in Skyrim (although it's not used anywhere) because it's impossible, as far as I know, to fully delete it from the game--you can only make sure it's not being used anywhere. It should hopefully still improve the mod, though. Enjoy! If you'd like to see the update, feel free to view the change notes above. Thanks everybody!
kubli 2 Jun, 2017 @ 8:47pm
Make it for the loading screen. It would be perfect for those people with: a) bloated saves; b) potato computer; etc.
Azuli Hellfox 2 Jun, 2017 @ 7:37pm
@Chocolate Milk , hmm...i think it would be best it it was around 1-5 minutes, just to stop the lag. Besides, its not like anyone will be fighting for such an extended amount of time?... unless you try defeating a dragon with bare fists.

Your welcome!
Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I was having internet problems...

Pretty nice song ^^
Chocolate Milk  [author] 1 Jun, 2017 @ 10:25pm
@Gloomy-Butt Thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated! In reply to your suggestion, it's impossible to loop it for different amounts of time because I'm using specific YouTube videos with set lengths. In the updated version, the video just so happens to be around a minute and a half (or maybe a bit more) long, and I can't really edit the length of the video or loop it since I don't have the skill nor the software. Thanks for helping me try to think up a better solution, though.
Gloomy-Butt 1 Jun, 2017 @ 10:17pm
@Chocolate Milk I would definitely go for the one minute version, because larger audio files can be a bit unstable. Shortening it even to three minutes/five minutes to avoid both the long freeze time and also make it loop less would also be valid and stable!
Chocolate Milk  [author] 1 Jun, 2017 @ 7:43pm
@Jumper
Wonderful, thanks for the feedback!!
Jumper 1 Jun, 2017 @ 7:09pm
@Chocolate Milk
Oh okay.
Either way, it doesn't really matter, but if I had to pick, the 1 minute audio is probably best of both worlds...
Chocolate Milk  [author] 1 Jun, 2017 @ 6:48pm
@Jumper I would probably avoid doing that because I'd likely get a lot of messages from people not understanding and saying something like "You already made this mod!", so it would get a mostly negative response I think.
Jumper 1 Jun, 2017 @ 6:30pm
@Chocolate Milk
Why not both?
Just make two versions of the same thing, with one being the 1-hr long audio, and the other being 1 minute that stops for about 2-3 seconds.
Then again, it's your choice.

I've been receiving complaints that the music takes too long to load in combat because the mod is so large. I've found a sort-of fix, but I need to ask if you all would prefer this or the original. In this update, it's the same song but it lasts for about a minute. There's an ending to the song--it's not a loop. There's then a two or three second delay before the song begins again. It's not a rude interruption where the song abruptly stops or anything. As I said, it has a pleasant ending, but it's not an ongoing loop. Would you prefer this version, with awkard wait time between each time it plays, or would you keep the original, where it takes a few seconds to load but then plays on a smooth loop until you exit combat? It's entirely up to you. Once I get around three or four responses to this comment, I'll either leave or update it.
