the castle mission and prison mission were painstakingly recreated piece by piece to make them as close as possible to original missions - to the point you can even climb the walls on castle.

For two reasons, 1) because it take a lot of time to create missions, 2) because not all of the original missions can be recreated on Arma maps, so I focused on the iconic GR missions. If you're looking for more, check out my Island Thunder and Desert Siege missions. :)

In the original GR there was 16 missions, why is there only 8 here?

Greetings lightspeed. I was finally able to return to the end of this mission and yes you are correct, the extraction point is marked with the standard red "arrowed-circle" just south of the sub port...which ends the game. But when Extract is selected as the current mission task in the map the way point is positioned at the southwestern most corner of the map (Some 10 km away). Not at all a big deal since one can just navigate via the map to the red arrowed circle and the end mission triggle will activate.

mmm, the extraction is just a few hundred metres out of the port. the mission end should start there and wrap up the campaign. :)

Wonderful series of missions!! The best of old & new worlds! I hope you continue the series! :steamhappy:

But one question regarding the extraction: When I assign extraction as the current task it gives me a point 10 KM to the southwest (basically the lower left corner of the map). Is that the true extraction point? If so it doesn't trigger a "mission end". Or do I need to go where the map marker (red circle) is for extraction??

The last task was not checked in the debrief screen, but I did exfil eventually ;)
The naval code objective was a little bit weird with AI (they are stupid af): they didnt want to enter the building and help me - OK. Then I solve it alone, but I left one enemy in a room where he cannot interfere with me. Then I ordered my AI to get in the boat: they immediately enter the building, went up on stairs to the room where enemy was, got killed. Reload, kill the last enemy and then ordered to get in the boat - still refuse. So I have to control them one by one to enter the boat ;) It's BIS bro, it's BIS AI as usual. I know.
So, thanks for the great mission, I enjoy it well.

You should have just had to stand near the correct computer - did you check all of the PCs? You will know when you find the right one. :)

I see. How about checking for isMultiplayer and not failing the mission, so that you will get the chance to continue when you are playing coop ?

I will check the NVG and adjust the lighting. The boats could be unlocked I guess - I locked them so players couldn't extract early and complete mission. But I can change the trigger.
SL dead is there as it has to work for SP and playerswitch and Psychos Revive don't play nice together.

Very nice mission. Very moody and stealthy.

However, I would suggest to make it a bit brighter, I had no NVGs (I was #4) and it was pitch black. Also, why the fail on team leader dead ? It somewhat breaks the coop aspect. Also, the boats in the beginning were locked, I would unlock them, we just came in with them.

Apart form that, great mission, loved it.

Good mission, though it could be at a lighter time and maybe don't make it fail if the leader is killed
