Just wanna say, either this mod, or the deadly archers mod, bugs up unit formations when you place them somewhere. I try to drag out my lines or create formations, but when I click, the units are placed in another direction where I've placed them. Hope you can fix this!

@thesundownRider. If a mods has its own custom units then no, it will not work with that mod.

if i fight a battle against enemy units they just suddenly run away from battle(not routing) but just run back a few 20 meters orso....they seem to lack some kind off aggression or something...it makes the battle a bit to easy... for example;

when i attack a town and blow out the gate you expect that the enemy would focus on the defense at the gate....this happens a little bit, but when they fight for some time at the entrance they just run back or the run from one side to another wich leaves the way wide open....this is something that has to be changed if its possible..

i dont know if you still work on this mod but i you dont then please tell me where in the KV-Rules i can change this behaviour... or if its not KV-rules then where??

@Pailerr, I dont remember exactly because I made the mod long time ago but it depends on how you tweak the values of one on one fights, charge, attack and defence/moral etc... That mod you posted, you can see that it is tweaked to the extreme and units are running past each other which I dont like personally and breaks immersion for me.

@Black, dude this mod was made to make battles epic and extreme which is closer to reality. Any more extreme then it is now, it would break the realism of this mod. Sorry man cant do that. This mod is perfect as it is.

super random question since you are a decent modder, Are you able make the soldiers to fight more chaotic and without restraint, not caring much about holding the line and formations? Loose formations that dont reform? Likes ur mod!

Tho running down archers especialy without cav is real pain, it was the way they fought. They always skirmished from afar and fled before enemy would get 2 close cuz of obvious reasons... :P Mongols used same tactics with horse archers which was prob annoying for their enemies but hey that's how they kicked ass :P.

you have just increased damage level for all units. That's unfair for axemen units and for WRE cause barbarians crush easily the roman armor. ERE axeman unit (heiteria) now absolutly useless against any unit.

@XX BlimpenKommander XX.. Sorry to hear that. Are you running any other mods ? Try disabling all the other mods and run this one only, if it works then your having compatibility issues.

@Deidara... As Zezima said, if Medieval Kingdoms (I haven't used this mod) has custom units then some part of the mod will work while some will not so I would not recommend it. Deadly Archers mod should be compatible with Medieval Kingdoms...

OP will be able to answer this, but I may be able to shed some light base on his previous responses.

MK uses custom troops, and I believe OP's mod (this one here) only alters the base game troops. That's why it may not work with Radious.

I could be wrong though.

MK is great btw.

Oh okay, so the damage scale is there for cav? I just didn't want to get this, start a campaign, and find out that this mod either allows cav to be severly OP or UP.

If you mean by brutal, the damage of weapons or spears of the cav class ? then the cav class is effected by this mod but for other tweaks like AI, stats, abilities etc are not effected... Hope this helps. So in a way the cav class is effected by this mod but not to full extent. :steamhappy:

@Hydra20... I forgot to mention that If you Hero unit mods then its fine but if you have lots of custom units like radious sutom unit then I would not recommend due to balance issues.

!Hydra20... Both so, some part of the mod will work and some will not work with new moded custom units... I do not recommend it. This mod is designed for the Orignial ingame units.

@ Zezima.... What I meant is that I haven't tweaked the rider class hence they have the default stats and abilities like it was in the game. Hope this clears up your confusion. For the archer I have a separate mod and the link is in the description. Running both the mods is recommended for best experience.

When you say you haven't touched the Horse/Rider class, can you please expand on that.

Does that mean they're not effected by the mod? Or that you didn't expand on their formations?

It wouldn't make sense to install this is the deadly combat only works on infantry, and not cav or archers.
