Only "cocking" sound that M16 has, (atleast only one I've noticed) is the bolt release.
I took a quick look to my qc. Apparently you are correct. Looks like I forgot (whoops) to change the reload sounds to AK's bolt sounds (m16 only has the bolt release "click"). I'll update it asap.
The bolt release sound wouldn't really fit animations, the way they are.
I assume you mean when Nick or Louis are holding the world model.
The thing with w_models is, that they use character's animations instead of separate weapon animations like v_model do.
That pretty much means that only thing I (or any other modder) can do is use the default skeleton that original weapons use and weight the model to that..
Unfortunately, that means that fitting the model for every character is next to impossible, because the characters' animations and the way they hold the gun differ slightly from each other.
Nick and louis probably hold the gun further along the front handguard than the other characters. And it probably doesn't help that the handguard in this gun is lot shorter than m16's.
