I know this mod wont ever get updates but for future reference and to help others, THIS MOD BREAKS THE MENUS OF OPENSTARBOUND. Use a different mod if you intend to use openstarbound

NAH.
The game runs better on:
-a 4-core and up CPU compared to a dual core CPU
-SSD instead of HDD
-without a GPU (including on-board solutions Intel HD and AMD APU) Steam itself wouldn't even run due to chromium engine demanding active GPU instead of a "basic display driver"
There's also Futara Dragon to optimize the engine.

BY THE GODS, I never thought it possible! No lag on my very full ship! I have always been BIG on decorating and I fill spaces to make them look lived-in. I also store a ton of junk because I have ADHD. For a while I believed my latest PC upgrade would mean I could scoot past my usual Starbound ship stuttering, but nope. It had begun, and I once again dreaded traversing the length of my vessel. This time I sought a solution and here I found it. Thank you!

Yeah , this doesn't fix the fps drop if you're looking for that I've tried most mods and it's not one of tham that Claim to fix it It just The way it is now with The processing of the game and it Sad because I remember playing the game long time a go And it wasn't this bad

Don't download this if you use FU. it breaks the mech leg textures. I found this out after a binary search with my modslist. fair warning to anyone experiencing legless mechs.

I've been getting an itch to play Starbound again, but I recall a variety of performance issues. One in particular I recall experiencing specifically is a heavy "lurch" when resurfacing on any given planet. Has anyone experienced this before, and does this mod fix it?

there are quite a few data loss parts in starbound that no matter what you do it will make youre game stutter. like the naviagtion and the pixel printer

so what does it do with things its not compatable with? does it still work just with some visual bugs? crashes? does it not WORK entirely?

if its not compatable with things races or what ever, does that mean it just doesn't make THOSE things optimized? but optimizes everything else it CAN technically work for still like vanilla?

the reason I ask is my game generally lags the SAME with or without mods, I have NO IDEA why starbound lags for me, when every other game works JUST fine, even modded, lol so if it works to optimize the VANILLA games stuff and just not most if not any modded stuff, then that should be fine with me as long as its atleast somewhat working for things.

It's literally impossible for mods like this to be made directly compatible with other mods without releasing individual "compatibility versions". Setting a really high priority (-9998 would be the highest possible) would allow indirect compatibility, however any mod that might use the same priority would fight for that position in load order every load, with a random winner each time.

To be honest, with how Starbound mods load, mods like this are great for users that never install mods, but that's about it.

@Zorua When you say it's no compatible, what you mean? The optimization do not apply or it breaks the custom armors?

@ScrubLord9000 Specifically, it messes up the chest item that the outfit generator uses.

Has a weird interaction if used alongside with Frackin' Universe 6.1.14(15) and Frackin' Universe - Restored (C) Menu.
Removes "Powered by Frackin' Universe" text from main menu, which according to FU author is a sign of correct install. In case someone has similar problem in the future, this mod is regrettably a culprit.

Be wary that this mod is not compatible with some sets, cosmetics, and races from mods.

note: this mod messes up custom armor

Hi uh, this breaks the futara's dragons mod's leveling system. I am a contributor and was testing my modpack and this seems to break it after searching 2 hours. after removing it it works again.

This'd be amazingly great if the _metadata had a priority of -999. I really do like the idea behind thi smod but the potential of causing issues and conflicts with other mods is pretty much non-zero. I experienced that with the Racial AI Restorer as the Novakid AI files from this mod overwrite that one, which isn't desirable. An easy fix, though!

This doesn't help me :(> I wish it did! At least it work for other people though!
