Don't!
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 12 Feb, 2018 @ 8:30am
I honestly, truly forgot that I intended to remove this.
Alex 11 Feb, 2018 @ 10:48pm
It seems to work even without the DLC. If you don't have to remove it, please don't do it.
LanToaster 18 Oct, 2017 @ 11:32am
I really dont like that Paradox is Messing/Restricting Mods that made stuff possible that they hadn´t made in their BaseGame. When they finally come around and include it in a Paid DLC.
(Would be another Matter if the Mod came after the DLC)

Also:
Isnt particulary Hard to fix the Mod.
Solid Chocolate 8 Oct, 2017 @ 4:49pm
Well damn that sucks. Sorry dude.
Pode 8 Oct, 2017 @ 1:52pm
Lol. You havebeen assimilated. Congratulations. I hope to one day join you when Pdox does a pre-ftl DLC
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 8 Oct, 2017 @ 1:33pm
HAH. I didn't do that. I think the stellaris devs set it to require syndaw, which is kinda funny as it is actually incompatible with syndaw. Looks like this mod is officially Over.

Sorry. This adds the exact thing that Synthetic dawn adds, but Synthetic dawn does it better. You'll just need to get that.
Solid Chocolate 7 Oct, 2017 @ 7:33pm
Damnit. I was using this mod but now it requires Synthetic Dawn, anyway you can make a version that doesn't need it?
Crazed Dutchman 24 Sep, 2017 @ 7:13am
this mod was an good mod, thank you
Crazed Dutchman 24 Sep, 2017 @ 7:13am
now i have to get SD to play with robots :L
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 18 Sep, 2017 @ 4:16pm
You cannot build any army that requires a species. Nothing I can do about that. You should be able to build xenomorph armies, though.
Niduk 18 Sep, 2017 @ 10:10am
Awesome mod. But one thing bothers me. When you play as robot you can't build anything else than basic attack and basic defence armies. Or am I doing something wrong?
CyberZe  [author] 16 Sep, 2017 @ 12:23pm
I finally managed to reassembly my pc after house move. I should resume my share of the work on the mod.

I like your suggestion Overlord Skalathrax altough I suppose it would make the mod a little to OP.
As for now you can use terraforming and use the mod that adds AI planet, dont recall the name thou.
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 2:21pm
That... might actually work. However, I'm more than a little bit too lazy, particularly given that I'll have to retire this mod when synthetic dawn releases, so I don't annoy the devs.
Yotokan 5 Sep, 2017 @ 5:46am
the building uses food as a running cost to make larger amount of power than other facilities. It also counts as a farm but produces no food on it's own so if you place it on tile with food it reduces the running cost by allowing you to harvest food.
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 4 Sep, 2017 @ 9:26pm
then they wouldn't be very good robots, would they?
Yotokan 4 Sep, 2017 @ 8:02pm
what if you used food as a running cost instead?
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 4 Sep, 2017 @ 5:31pm
First: That would be a lot of effort, and would make it so any organic empires that conquered your planets would have no food tiles. Second: I'm afraid coding such a building is outside my skillset at the moment.
Yotokan 3 Sep, 2017 @ 8:19pm
Food tiles should be made to produce energy instead. Having a few buildings that convert food to energy would be nice. i mean if a potato can power a lightbulb i'm just saying.
Dutch Person 29 Aug, 2017 @ 9:34am
ok thx
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 9:33am
It might have been added by the devs. I certainly didn't do it.
Dutch Person 29 Aug, 2017 @ 8:23am
So, I've noticed at the beginning of my empire, whenever I got to 0 EC, I got new EC for free. Is this a bug or is this just so that my empire doesn't starve?
Eternalace11 13 Aug, 2017 @ 5:14am
Cool thanks for responding
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 13 Aug, 2017 @ 4:19am
The AI crisis Cannot happen to a robotic empire, at all. If another empire has an uprising, it *might* affect you, but that's not really something you can stop from happening.
Eternalace11 12 Aug, 2017 @ 7:27am
I really like this mod only question i have does the ai endgame criss effect this or is it like the ascension perk in utopia? I have been avoiding useing ai stuff for fear of self imolation
play doh the philosiphiser 8 Aug, 2017 @ 5:40pm
It looks like the robot governor's don't build new pops, and don't develop their land. Is this a new issue or could it be my save? I do have auto build checked on sector settings also.
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 2 Aug, 2017 @ 6:56am
They're useless. If the devs add those things to their synthetic empires, I'll port them to these robotic empires.
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 22 Jul, 2017 @ 5:20pm
They do not.
snowboy 21 Jul, 2017 @ 11:43pm
Do pops automatically grow? Sorry if repeat.
CyberZe  [author] 9 Jul, 2017 @ 2:42am
Growth should be more or less fixed, changed base for assembly to 20 months, robotics give 10% boost, droid 30% boost, synth 50% boost, also fixed rules so u can still hire leaders after u researched robots but before u have synthetic leadears, and got rid of the bug that kept unupgraded pops when u had old colony ship or colony underway while researching next tech, the left overs will get upgraded after 2 years, 5 years and 10 years from researching tech.
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 7 Jul, 2017 @ 4:48pm
Growth speed bonuses indeed do not work.
CyberZe  [author] 7 Jul, 2017 @ 11:23am
Hi, I'm pretty certain that this : pop_growth_req_mult doesnt work as I can see no speed modification.
Ammonium 7 Jul, 2017 @ 10:11am
What about growth speed bonuses?
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 6 Jul, 2017 @ 9:34pm
it is totally useless, assuming you are playing as robots
Ammonium 5 Jul, 2017 @ 10:17am
If I unlock genetic engineering, does it do something or is it totally useless?
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 2 Jul, 2017 @ 6:42am
Yup. I considered putting it as a trait, but decided not to simply because the original author didn't.
The Shrouded Watcher 2 Jul, 2017 @ 1:15am
Oh, it's chosen at the beginning, not as a trait. That makes sense.
The Shrouded Watcher 2 Jul, 2017 @ 1:14am
Er, how do you choose to be robotic?
evilapplejuice 27 Jun, 2017 @ 3:55pm
Thank you for the quick response, you're on of the coolest mod creaters that I've found. You deserve all the praise that you've gotten for this mod.
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 27 Jun, 2017 @ 3:44pm
You cannot cause a synthetic revolution as a synthetic empire, and I have never seen the AI's cause one, though they might be able to.
evilapplejuice 27 Jun, 2017 @ 3:33pm
Can there still be a synthetic revolution if you're playing as synthetics? I've gotten to the dangerous robotic technologies, and I don't know if it'll give me an upgrade to my pops (like most other robotic upgrades) ,or if it'll just start the revolution.
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 23 Jun, 2017 @ 5:42pm
They should.
Bushmaster Angelo 23 Jun, 2017 @ 3:45pm
Wait, will sectors build robots?
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 20 Jun, 2017 @ 4:10pm
If you choose to be robotic, yes.
evilapplejuice 20 Jun, 2017 @ 11:22am
Since the mod is about robots, does it make your leaders immortal?
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 18 Jun, 2017 @ 10:35am
Because I chose to separate those into a different mod. A big part of it is that this doesn't actually have any code from the original. It just has a copied picture or two.
Batchat 18 Jun, 2017 @ 4:53am
Why are there no Android portraits included in this mod?
Ammonium 17 Jun, 2017 @ 10:01am
THANK YOU SO MUCH by continuing this mod!
Zagreb 9 Jun, 2017 @ 6:39am
Sorry for the grammar i'm french i do my best. Thanks for the answer
Fred the Destroyer  [author] 9 Jun, 2017 @ 6:08am
Grammar aside, they should.
