Heyo! Any chance you could help me understand how to import KOTOR assets into Tabletop? I can't seem to load the .mdl file into Blender at all :c

Love the work so far man! any hope of future updates, possibly with more npc's? Would love to have my players fighting kotor style sith troops and dark jedi.

Are there any plans to put in other NPCs from KOTOR, like the Rodians, Twi'leks, Gands, etc?

Ooh, handy. I'm still reading my Star Wars RPGs but the retro tech look would go well with the Alien setting, so I think I'll be making good use of these in the next couple of weeks. I'll be sure to mention the name in any stream I do with them. Thanks!

The shaders aren't working. These are excellent assets, so it sucks that they make a big warning appear on the screen whenever you use them. Any chance for a fix?

yo im a streamer (that is a lil outta commission as my hard drives failed) but i run a kotor era tabletop game and found and def will be using these assets, they're amazing!! was just curious if you're going to continue adding to this with other stuff like the leviathan/star forge or whatever and touching up on other aspects like adding the selkath voice and stuff, so figure id ask. either way hope you are/do, and amazing work with these i'm in love with the nostalgia that this brought me! ESPECIALLY THE GIZKA!!! XD

Ah, I had a feeling that was the case; but wanted to confirm it wasn't a feature that could be applied to assets that are already available in the game. Thank you very much for the clarification!

Hey, @Nahz. When you make a model, it has certain 'blind spots'; points that the player will never see that shouldn't render to save on memory and increase speed in their games. It's backface culling, in short. I used the models that already contained it to my advantage; didn't have to change much at all.

Sorry, @Silent. I've slowed down very hard on dev for this since I've switched build machines and house. These are so awesome! I love all of your KOTOR ports SO MUCH! I'm currently making a Pazaak gaming table with a background that utilizes a lot of these models. And just in case you take requests, I'd like to throw one in for more pazaak related assets. Gambling halls, cantinas, pazaak tables, that sort of thing would be awesome! Anyway, keep doing you, you're awesome! Liked and favorited.

@Jiggles The trick is to download the image to your files, so it has the biggest size instead of being simply a thumbnail image. Give the images on ColonialChrome a click, maybe, or right click and download. Then, in Tabletop Simulator, import them as tiles so they contract/expand depending on scale.

Update: Overhauled the lights for the Ebon Hawk tiles. They all have three states now, lit, warning lights, lights out to use with the new lighting system.

Storm Troopers are not from the KoTOR canon, however I am working on a particular tool for modellers. Message me on steam and I can give you details, but the main jist is that you can mix-match armor pieces and export the model pieces for editing.

Update: Added two more NPC characters. An Ithorian, who has 9 voice clips from the game to cycle through, as well as bring fully animated, and a Selkath who lacks the voices due to reasons but is animated as well.
