At that time there were problems with the compiler, but after I converted the map to a few entities about a year ago for a significant improvement in performance. Would it be possible that the compiler would endure that in the meantime and no longer breaks the water, light and physic of Gmod.
However, that would certainly be another year in which I could not do anything other than expand this map every day and whether the whole thing might end up in a compile error is also not guaranteed.
Furthermore, Monstrum is now almost 7 years old and almost nobody is interested in it anymore and furthermore I currently have 4 active projects that I am working on, 3 projects of which are my own developed Steam and Google Play games and one of them is the "Snowpiercer Mod" that I am making for the Gmod Source 2 successor: "S&Box".
Maybe you understand that I neither have the time nor the motivation for it.
The navigation Ai nodes are available and compatible for regular NPCs. With Nextbots, a few more steps are necessary on your part.

This map has a built-in Ai Node system that is used to orient NPCs.

How long it freezes varies from computer to computer and depends on many factors.

I do not program nextbots and there are none of "The Brute". The only monster from this game that has ever been implemented as Nextbot in the workshop is "The Fiend" and I did not program it: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1087298213
If you don't spawn a Monster you don't got a Monster, this is just a Map...

If you mean Nextbot "The Fiend", then I can not help it because it's the fault of the programming from the Nextbot.
The Alien Nextbot works perfectly well on my ship and in this case only the developer of the Nextbots can fix here ...
