1) why do I like frag? Simple: frag much better at penetrating armor, HE is only good (in my opinion) if you have a missile consisting of looots of them, around 7-12 heads. These types will bust every turret and thing alike, but will never reach a fully armored core.
2) The reason for the short range on the big cram is because it will shoot itself if you set it too a longer range. But the aa guns limitations are based on ammo, yes if I set it so they can shoot 4500m they will maybe be able to be more effective (in the short run) - but in the long run they will use all of there ammo in a short amount of time. (Since there using belt feeders) But while limiting the range means that the shots are much more likely to hit it's target and ammo is conserved.
