Oh this one is quite old, indeed it should benefit of whips for fun, tbh, my latest ships do use it. Not quite sure here if by the time this one was made that script was available, i've to say, theres a lot of things i need to update.

also whips missile launch script might be worth a look as well (i know im adding it and upgrading the missiles to comply with the script)

as for reactor power it may be true thats a little much for the fire and forget torpedos but if you run the reactor explosion mod it will make a big boom in pirate style

Sounds like a great idea, while it doesn't matter on creative, I guess that on survival it's certainly the way to go. But then again, pirates... they 'can do nothing right'...

An internal battery may be better then reactors, and I suggest use the easy LIDAR guidance script to make it home on targets :)
