I've been hoping for something like this in existence. It's like whenever I become a vampire (end up doing this every time I play), all the NPC's are always awake or hostile to me. What, can't blame a girl for being hungry! :D Thanks so much! :D

Most ppl who play vampire class love a challenge, so what I think its better not being able to buy Bottled Blood. Rather, the only way to obtain Bottled Blood is by making it yourself. Something like when you feed at someone, you have an option to fill an empty bottle with blood in the process.

Sneak up on a sleaping NPC and then have options
1 pickpocket
2 feed
3 feed and fill bottle with blood

Only when you are a vampire ofc..

But thats just my opinion ;)

It should be 20-50 gold each, it's easier to feast every three das rather than spending seven getting enough money to buy one.

Does this genuinely turn a non-vampire into a vampire?! I really want to be a vamp but my vanilla game is so buggy. Let me axplain it.

I've been looking everywhere for help about my vampire issues. I have wanted to be a vampire since Nov 11 last year when I got Skyrim, but I figured I would wait until after I cured myself of lycanthropy (being a werewolf) before I became a vampire. Unfortunately, my main breton save became too buggy and I had to start fresh as a Khajiit. I contracted sanguinare vampiris normally but I had to use 'toggle god mode' to get through a tough battle. Afterwards, I realised that tgm had cured me of the disease. I turned of tgm and used the console to add the disease again.

I wanted to be a vampire quickly so I waited three days and nothing happened. It wasn't in active effects or anything. The console still said I had the disease but it wasn't affecting me in-game. I tried sleeping and that failed. I figured out that the disease disappeared from me in-game after 24 hours. I tried starting a fresh game with a generally non-buggy race (imperial) without removing my mods and I the immediate active effect of reduced health never showed up at all. Recently I tried a new save as Imperial with no mods - just a pure vanilla game. Nothing changed at all. Tried with Khajiit - same thing. Clearly I have a major issue with vampires in my vanilla game. Does anyone know how to fix this at all? Any ideas? Even explaining how to reinstall the game and not lose my current saves would be great. I just want to be a vampire! Please help!

Just here to say once again that after the months I'm using this mod that I still love it. Actually, it's my favorite. :) It haven't been conflicting with anything I use and it is very save to be a vampire with a few bottles of those in your pocket without having to be afraid to changing to stage 4 in the middle of nowhere where non will sleep.
I'm glad as well that the bottles are expansive. Gives me finally something needed to invest in.

I like notthedietz's idea. How about being able to buy blood and able to collect it if you have an empty bottle in your inventory?

i'm having a similar problem, whenever i get to the blood-starved stage and drink a bottle, it says i'm back to stage one, i don't have the powers, but the guards still try to kill me

I'm having an issue where the blood is either not putting my character back to stage 1, or is somehow launching him straight to the blood-starved stage.

Guards were attacking my character in every hold, and he doesn't have any bounty in any of them. I ran away and knocked back a bottle and tried to return to a town, only to be attacked. Ran off, repeated the process, and waited one day...and the same thing happened. The guards only let up after I'd broken into somebody's house at night and fed on them.

I'm not sure if this is a known issue, or if it's conflicting with another mod (I shouldn't think so, it's been working fine up till this point). I'll probably be un-subbing until this matter is resolved, if it's resolved. I hope it works out either way, I'm quite enamored with the idea of my vampire stocking up on "emergency rations" when he isn't able to feed.

Would be nice to be able to harvest blood from bodies, then mix with Ice Wraith teeth to make Preserved blood, which is useable. Or perhaps a sword, that on death of a man or mer creates a jar

I don't know, I never valued alchemical creation of blood. Suppose it'd be reasonable if you were willing to do one of two things:

1. Change human hearts/flesh to have the affect for blood. - This is what I see most commonly recommended, but what do you remove from hearts/flesh to make room?
2. Add new ingredients - The problem with this one, what ingredients do you add? A human artery?

It would be far easier to just make a cookpot recipe instead, potentially using human hearts and flesh, and an empty bottle. But if you're going that far why not just bottle it yourself?

@Tit I've not used this mod (I wrote my own instead), but based on my understanding it actually works as per normal feeding in regards to stages. It just doesn't reset the VampireFactionPC variable and remove hostilities, which is the problem.

Despite some of the bugs I heard, like not being able to get up from stage 4. (Is it possible to add a script/comman that sets the stage to 1 again? or is that the current situation?)
I think it's pretty handy. Especially the part where it gives vampirism!
I can't find any vampires, and going to them is suicide for me. But drinking this for how much septims? Worth it!

I hope you manage to improve the mod, because it's a great idea!

Also noting your version log, a logical fix to the possible human blood makes you a vampire problem is simply to have it not show up in merchant inventories unless you're a vampire. It makes sense. The merchants in this business probably learn how to spot vampires and probably keep their stash of blood squirreled away unless they're pretty sure they're dealing with one.
