Just a heads up for anyone like me who decides to check this out in 2023 or later: this mod DOES work despite being last updated in 2017 at the time of writing this, because the mod consists of only a single line of code, which updates one parameter in the BASE GAME's global parameters, a parameter which none of the expansions touch. That means this mod will work whether you have just the base game or any of the expansions; if you get a compatibility warning, just ignore it, it's a false warning.

Is this mod still working? I am showing a compatibility flag when I turn it on, but it doesnt say anything over here if it was updated or not for the last game version.

@LetsKip isnt it that after your city gets max borders (3) that then it starts growing beyond that?
Could have sworn it happened with my america (though modded) walktrough

good mod idea, anyone know of a mod that increases the distance a cities borders can go away from it? i know they had mods like that in civ 5.
