Nevermind, I think I see what you've done with the Byzantine buildings. They look unique, and the castle (which looks quite Roman), as well as the church, are distinct from the ones used for the Islamic civs.

All of the units are beautiful. If it included the Byzantine buildings from the Age of Empires II: The Slavs graphics set, it would be nearly perfect. Any chance the Byzantine buildings could be changed to that?

I modded the teutons paladin in the conqueror version I uploaded on ModDB. but I didn’t change the teutons paladin in the HD version mod on steam.

Unique units for every level will make player hard to identify the units when so many different unique units are in the same screen.

Hi there, great work!!!
One bug to report tough: the unit icons on your last updates (arbalest, pikeman, halberdier for mesoamerican) are just black squares (they don't show up at all, both in tech tree and on game). But the skins are working fine.

This new version of AOWE is compatible with IA mods now!

You can choose to use your prefered independent architecture mod and use AOWE independent unit skins at the same time

That's due to there being 8 directions but only 4 SLPs (animations for each direction). The game automatically mirrors the animations to create the 8 directions in game. The result is of course that weapons 'magically' switch hands.

Nevermind lol, i just noticed every unit in aoe2 behaves that way, switching hands of weapons when moving left-right
