+1 incinerator does not burn when prompt to do so .. start the animation nothing happend. i use a lot of mod though but this is last loading.

Problem with the incinerator, though, it doesn't work. I'm trying to burn corpses in it but they aren't disappearing when I select "incinerate trash"

You have to be standing in just the right spot to pick up the incinerator. And I would recommend "Equip to Primary/Secondary" since it's so heavy and will cause damage to your character due to holding too much weight. You have to be standing just above it, like where the smoke stack is or the top of the burning compartment

Yes, that is an option, but it's not an immersive one. Weekly / Bi-weekly trash collection doesn't run during a zombie apocalypse. The ability to simply delete trash into the void with the push of a button, for those who prefer immersion over simplicity / convenience, makes this mod a must.

Also, some of us gamers are masochists, so things like this add that much more topping on our much loved cake of "Harder daddy".

You can just have a dumpster in your base, throw the stuff there and hit "delete" and it will delete all items in its inventory, same thing goes for trash cans of all types but the dumpster has more space, you can even throw a body there

It would be awesome if you can update the mod again, you can only put so much into cans with the ability to delete items and most arent able to fit very large items. The incinerator would be perfect for this case.

Not working for me on a hosted 41.71 game. No option to Dig Landfill.

To echo what is said about this mod incase anyone is checking it out, it's very effective and the incinerator is a nice addition, but it cannot be moved or deconstructed after being dropped, and is treated as an item-based container rather than a built structure.

Good concept, the landfill is great but as others have said...the incinerator gets placed and cannot be moved.

randomly i am unable to dig/fill landfills, sometimes placing shovels in a container and tacking them out helps, sometimes just waiting

Super useful mod allows me to organize my stash by dumping it into pits.

I've been playing Build 41 and the only trash cans I've seen are the ones you loot. Is there a craftable trash can that I've been missing?

@Monkey Butt Gamer hey sorry for the trouble. There are definitely some issues with this mod in certain configurations (multiplayer vs sp, 40 vs 41 etc). With build 41 implementing trash disposal natively, it probably doesn't make much sense to continue updating this. I recommend checking out build 41 and the trash can functionality :)

Incinerator won't work i've placed it put items in it had matches clicked on Incinerate trash and nothing

Oh good to know! I saw a post recently that there was some API changes and a lot of mods would break. I've had mixed reports of it working or not working here for a while. It's awesome that this functionality is in the base game now.

No need for the mod, in game trashcans have a "Delete all" button, at least in b41.50+

dude ty so much when i do mining etc i end up with so much trash and the trash bags etc only fit so much XD hydrocraft is a great mod but also end up with way more trash items lol let me know if you need anything.

Hey guys. This certainly needs an update based on the comments. I've been super busy with other stuff but I do want to get this fixed.. really sorry for the delay :(. I kinda stopped maintaining this after the ground item cleanup stuff was added, but there is clearly stuff at least some demand for this type of feature. I'll try to get it fixed asap <3.

Have used this mod for a long while find it goes very well alongside hydrocraft but cannot seem to get it to work anymore. I have the materials and required skills but no crafting recipe shows up for either item. Have tried right clicking the ground and selecting metalworking or making the landfill and nothing is there for it. I tried looking at the scripts and can't immediately see anything out of place. Any chance this can be updated?

Hi, first, thanks for this mod, f... great idea ! :) Second, it seems to work, i can put stuff and trash inside, get a lighter, go back, see the option "Incinerate trash", a load bar appearing and ... nothing happen, trash still there, does it take more time ? install a special mod ? (i play single player game, in a custom-made-world), an upgrade ? (sorry if you explained this before, i've just use this mod for the first time this morning :) ) Thanks you so much !

TL;DR: for a single player game, mod needs to be updated to fix the incinerate issue, otherwise should work fine in MP games

I tried modifying the code to also execute if not connected to a multiplayer game, it gets further, but then when it calls the sendClientCommand(playerObj, 'RPGarbageDisposal', 'updateIncineratorContainer', args); it doesn't do anything for some reason. I'm not sure if the sendClientCommand (which sends a command from the client to the server) works in a single player game?

In ISIncineratorMenu.lua within the onIncinerate function, it uses isClient() to determine if it should execute the rest of the function. This is to ensure that the function only runs on the client side for this bit of the mod, as some stuff needs to be run on both the client and server side. Problem is, that isClient() only returns true, if it is on the client side AND the client is connected to a multiplayer server. Solo games isClient() will always return false.

So, from what I can tell, the whole Incinerator not working issue is specific to single player games.
I looked into the code, and gave a test, and I think I found the issue

If you get the packaging mod and fill 1-10 garbage bags full of "junk" and then "make them into a 10 pack" all the stuff is magically gone... very cool!

Incinerator seems to not incinerate anymore, but Landfill still works. As said in the description, it might sometimes be just a little tricky to get the right spot to activate the "Fill Landfill" option, but it still works. Incinerator on the other hand doesn't incinerate anymore, sadly.

Is there any way to input multiple trash tags in the edit tags? I haven't figured this out, but there is definitely a list of items I am using in every game on every server that I want to trash - like book covers, cigarette butts, etc, etc, not to even mention the various useless stuff you mine with hydro.

Being able to input a comma separated list or something like "item 1";"item 2" etc - that would save a LOT of time setting up every game!

Just a small suggestion/request, is it possible to add different levels of landfill "fill" to reflect how much trash is in it?
