I think one reason I like Batcature Science is the absurd humour and little touches here and there that show you cared when making the map.
Like the fact if you portal into the Locker Room in Magnet Madness, you see that there's been ANOTHER murder.
I don't even know if this was intentional, but It took me several playthroughs of the Batcature Series to realise the suspicious nature of the poster warning employees about the Geothermal Power Wing. I thought it was just a typical joke poster, until I remembered that you are on an airship, and that (if a Geothermal power wing is on an Airship) something strange is probably going on.
There's also how the Cat Overseers are simultaneously funny and intimidating.
It all seems to come together to make Batcature Laboratories a very charming and fun experience.

I am very excited by Batcature Science, and the posibilities it offers. Being more of a writer and an artist myself, I've been doing things like sketching designs for little test chamber signs that include Batcature tech.
I've also been considering writing a story about a group of alternate universe Aperture Employees who venture into the multiverse. If I do that, there will definitely be a segment involving Batcature.

For anyone reading this: Nevernamed reported a few bugs that he experienced while playing this map that relate to the repulsors not switching on and off. This is an unfortunate byproduct of the delays and relays that this element has, hence why they were used sparingly in the main campaign.

@Nevernamed Batcat has put a delay between the moment of the activation and the deactivation of the magnet, it seems there is effectively a problem with this, just stay long enough in the button to avoid it or restart the map
For the magnet at the bottom of the gap, i've put a generous trigger, but it only works when you press jump in his area => means that you should jump early enough to fly
I'm not going to update it now, maybe wayy later and i seriously doubt that Batcat will do it too since we are "full time students", sorry about the issue, i'm glad you enjoyed it :)

What is "Batcature series" - is this some earlier version sorry-line of Portal or a custom creation?

Abstract cubes were taken from the 'space between portals and time' from the previous series. At the time of making that series they looked good because there was a space-theme going on, now they just look odd and lifeless. However I never found the motivation to explain why the cubes in this non-space area are so low detailed or simple, but for dtory continuity I keep them in.

But rather blame it on lazy mapping :p

Had a fairly good time with this until near the end in jumping the spike pit with the ceiling magnet turned-on. I kept getting sent to the pit too often. I wish there were more positional game saves so progress wouldn't be lost. Too many deaths in trying to finish, so I stopped for now. The red and blue cubes could have been textures a little nicer (?). It is still a cool map. Well done.

I like the continuity with the previous levels. Making them different colors is actually an aid to the player.

I thought I had the solution before I really did. Magnets are weird.

Beautiful stylisation (spelling?), interesting easter eggs, fascinating puzzle mechanic, very well lit. Great fun! 9.5/10 However I did seem to be able to permanently stick one of them on, although to what affect I don't know, I accidentally killed myself and never found out. The autosaving whilst very generous still meant re-doing some parts

I understand your concern, this map is basically 70% premade assets since Kwinten mafe tje puzzle and I have recycled parts.
