@Zach Goalifianakis Unfortunately not. Doing so would prevent it from being modular, since the in game "airport" has very specific requirements.

@dexularte The only "Plane Stand Pack" I know are props and just decoration, which can be moved on the functional plane stand "building". Search for plane stand in workshop in section transport plane. There are some available from vasimr22 and Zoki.

@Dying I’m working on my airport now. By the way, I am already subscribed to AIRPORT PLANE STAND PACK, I can’t seem to find it in the game menu. I saw it in the Asset but I have hard time looking for it in the menu. Is it under TRANSPORT - AIR TRANSPORT? There’s nothing in there. Thank you.

No, you don't. The mod "Move It" works with current game (SH update) with or without installed DLC Sunset Habor.

I have no idea how to connect the terminal to a road. It appears you can plop the parts anywhere but how do cims get to the planes???

Thanks to @vasimir22 regarding this and many other airport/aircraft relevated assets, I am very glad about a 100% working International Terminal with 25 gates (working for big planes):

It's a little bit tricky to get it to work and I know that the taxiways in between the rows looking a bit strange, but it was the only way without possible traffic jam and aicraft collisions are very rare.

Regarding arrival on ground level and departure on 1st level, use the laziness of path finding. Peds and vehicles always try to use the shortest way to destination. In my example approx. 50% arrive for departure on 1st level by bus (very few by taxi), 40% arrive by monorail using the tunnel and just 10% arrive on ground level (taxi and by feet).
Nearly vice versa on plane arrival leaving the area: approx. 60% leaving on ground level, 30% leaving by using tunnel to monorail and 10% leaving on 1st level by bus (very few by taxi).

There is no need of a road connection to the terminals on second level. A pedestrian path (with bridge possibility and without street lamps) in combination with road anarchy can be fixen to second level road with a bridge to the floor and cover it with the building itself afterwards. This path (or switch to an invisible one) can be set to each terminal. If the jetway is to long (longer than within 2x2 distance between end of path and plane stand), you can start an invisible pedestrian way to the plane stand. Of course you will see cim feet below the jetway in some cases. I further recommend to set the airport area as district with no bicycle rule.

@XxSimbuilderxX Yes, they are not functional. If you read the second sentence in the mod description, it says: It should be noted that these are NOT functional, and are listed as transportation buildings, so they do not generate tourism.

It will let you clip buildings / roads into each other, even if they intersect.

@asaphx with LSM, It should only use the texture memory of one asset, but will use the the vertex / geometry memory for all of the assets (usually only a few KB each). The losing time will probably be a bit longer though, since I believe LSM checks to verify that the textures are identical (so it would check all of the pixels for each image, or every asset in the pack - the comparison may be a hash though which would be roughly 2x faster).

@xxsimbuilderxx I think you need to use anarchy regardless, otherwise you can’t clip the footprints into each other. I’m not sure why you are asking about other airports instead of anarchy. Your only other option would be to use a different asset (there are many on the workshop). If you want to use this asset pack and have it be functional, then you need anarchy to clip them into another airport building asset, or use a plane stand asset which is placed along side the terminal assets. The terminals in this pack are not functional.

@xxsimbuilderxx You would be better off moving these assets over / into an existing airport. Either way, they can be moved into any asset or have any asset moved into them. You just may need the anarchy mod to do so.

@XxSimbuulderxX I don’t understand the question. Are you asking about a functional airport building? If so, there are several plane stand assets on the workshop (they have no building in their model).

@pardo_vini As far as I am aware, the only requirement is that the pedestrians have a path, so you should be able to use pedestrian paths instead of roads. Otherwise, you need to use either 2-way roads, or 1-way roads that form a loop (otherwise people will only ever enter / exit the planestand). I think clipping pedestrian roads will be easier.

Hey @vasimr22 let me ask you this: I'm making a large airport, so I have terminals separeted but connected with STERM_Spoke. The roads inside terminals must be inside Spokes to allow people pass from one to another, right? Any roads can be used? I try to use the tiny roads, but they can not be elevated. Can I use a pedestrian road insted? It's a little hard to make the roads inside something when I can't see those.

@BadGamer Thats sort of a bug or quirk with the game. Since each asset is a different building, the brightness and the color of the lighting will change per building every night within the game. It's the same mechanic that lights up some of the windows in office buildings and houses.
As far as I know, there is no work around.

hi @vasimr22 - I've built a pretty large airport and it is completely functional - I used OL-CL-CR-OR-OL-CL-CR-OR to form almost a circle. It's nice so thank you for this setup.

Que: The lights of the different assets light up differently - as in sometimes some of the assets don't light up at all and sometimes they are really bright and sometimes they are medium bright. Is this normal or intentional?

@george.renner it's an issue with how the building shader deals with illumination. I have yet to find a way to fix it. As for URLs, steam blocks them for security reasons. You need to modify the link so that steam does not recognize it as a link.
