In case that the class file name matters. Try to use Argent_Character_BP_ZM_C instead of Argent_Character_BP_C. Hope that solves your problem

well i had to explain that i can't load warpaints on carbonemys, rex, ankylo instead of "can't paint". i can load my warpaints on vanilla summoned dino...

Hi, thanks for your great work. I can't paint my dino... not the same class name for each dino like vanilla species ? how can i paint them... i summoned vanilla which i can paint, but not tamed dino from your mod....

But if you plan to start over or the play the new extensions, I highly recommend you "Zwinkie Rebalanced Dinos #2", where everything is the same as here, except a few minor changes). If you wish to keep your dinos in the updated version, please head over there and look for the "Upgrading from Zwinkie Rebalanced Dinos #1 thread". See you there, hopefully! :)

This version of the mod won't get future updates anymore! When we tried to add the Aberration dinos, we faced a problem, what we couldn't resolve the way we based our mod on. Changing these things would completely break the current state of the mod, it would also mean that players would lose some of their dinos, so we decided to rather create a new one and keep this one untouched. Be warned, that the 2 mods are NOT 100% compatible together! If you are not interested in Aberration and Extincion, you can keep on using this one, however if any changes happen with the dinos in the future, this mod won't get those updates.

Whether the new Dino mod can tolerate other Dino mods, such as ARK Addits: Inominus Rex mod(ark Dino grade strength, increase strength, strength, up to 50 Taming). Can new Giga be set to rival Rex rather than far stronger than Rex(similar in size, with bloody buff that can deal with Sauropod dinosaur)

Update 2#: sadly the aberration version of the vanilla dinos won't work with this state of the mod. That also will happen with the extinction dinos too (in the future, when the devkit gets an upadte). Bad news is that this mod won't get further updates, but good news is that we found a possible solution and will upload the mod under a different ModID in the near future. Those won't be compatible with each other! But ofc you will be able to use this one in this last state, we won't delete it. So seeya in the near future with the new Zwinkie Dino Mod #2! :D

Update: the aberrant version of the vanilla dinos don't spawn yet. We figured out what the problem is and trying to find a workaround in the next few days. So if there is anyone trying to play Aberration with our dinos, i recommend waiting with it.

Can only modify the Giga so that it is comparable to the Rex body size and strength, and the attack is lower than the Rex but has bloody buff

Just downloaded this mod and tried it in a new, clean Ragnarok map. I'm seeing wild dinos around level 270~. Is this an error on my part, or has the max level increased from what's stated in the mod description? If it's the latter, up to what level can I still tame wild dinos -- 150?

To be honest, I prefer Giga to be equal to Rex, which is more aggressive and Giga has blood on buff. In reality Rex has the strongest bite but Giga teeth are sharper. The size is the same as that of the two, Rex 14.5 Giga 14. Rex is too strong for Giga.

@SuperDestiny, here is the way how you can spawn our dinos: for example lets take the T-Rex.
This is the vanilla spawn:
"Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/Dinos/Rex/Rex_Character_BP.Rex_Character_BP'"

And this is the modded version:
"Blueprint'/Game/Mod/ZwinkieMod/PrimalEarth/Dinos/Rex/Rex_Character_BP_ZM.Rex_Character_BP_ZM'"

So you just technically add the "/Mod/Zwinkiemod" and "_ZM" to the text.

Short Answer: Unless you cheat, its impossible.

Long Answer:Broodmother Gamma(Easy) Lvl 1 has 324.000 HP and spawns Lvl 115 Minions.

If you tame a Raid team of lvl 80 Rexes + Yuty + Daedon with 100% TE they are Lvl 99-100 and can gain, what like 73 levels through XP?
With the rebalanced stat gains that Raid Team will barely put a dent into the broodmother before time runs out and you, your tames and all items you brought will get sucked into the Void.

@Positively Mental Attitude, sadly in this mod you cannot separate the two. I wanted to do just the kibble rewamp without changing the dino stats, but I dunno right now if I will ever do it. Sorry!

is there anyway to get the portion of this mod that reworks the kibble tree and the food effectiveness but without the remapping of dino stats and everything? I really like how logical your kibble tree is and how there is better logical effectiveness with foods but I don't want the dinos to be changed because I would like to be able to do boss fights.

You state to "set the difficultyOffset to 0".

Question, when using ASM (Ark Server Manager) I can either have no entry at all OR the closest it gets is 0.01, it won't allow 0, that and it also forces "OverrideOfficialDifficulty=" entry.
As I don't know the inner working of your mod which would you recommend, nothing at all (in that case does your mod internally set that parameter at 0) or, set it to 0.01?
Also, what should the "OverrideOfficialDifficulty=" parameter be set to when we are forced to, for lvl200 which you mention is max level I believe its 6.666, can you concur?

Just want to get it set up as you intended and sometimes have to work around the peculiarities of the server manager we use.

@Netsike, thanks, just a little background info, I have been setting up Ark servers fully customized in every aspect since about a week after its initial release, this is one feature or setting I had always wished for however WC seems to have implemented everything under the sun except that, as far as server config is concerned.

Thanks though, I appreciate the feedback, I'll just continue to make it more challenging the "old fashioned way" as you mentioned and via mods such as yours.

@Max, if you want to change it, you have to make a separate mod, which won't be compatible with other mods unfortunately... However, if you want to make the game more challenging fast, you can check the game/server settings. You can set up for example how much health your dinos get with a level up, or even reduce the tamed dino's resistance etc. Here is a link to the wiki site: https://ark.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration

Ah, a shame, I have actually wanted to do that on our server since Ark came out, just to overall balance dinos out post-tame a bit more, I mean, a level 500 wild becomes a level 749 for example after taming then the 72 (default) levels on top, the poor wilds are now contending with a lvl800+ critter instead of something just higher than themselves.

@Max: as far as I know, you can't set this up in the server settings. In the DevKit you can change this value for every dino individually (in the DinoCharacterStatusComponent, it's called "Max Taming Effectiveness Base Level Multiplier).

By the way, I am particularly interested in how you did "* reduced max level gain at taming from max +50% to max +20%"

I have always wanted to play at least once whereby you get no bonus levels just because you tamed a dino, meaning, you tame a 100 wild and it becomes a 100 tame, then of course you can set up however many levels and xp it can get.

Is that what you changed something that can only be done via a mod or is it also possible via server game.ini and I am just missing the secret setting to do so?

I tried to find it there but only thing I could find was changing tamed dinos resistance,which may be similar enough with calculating what amount would be realistic.

Kale8, it's not a bad idea, but it would need testing, then changing all saddles and all dinos again, which is a lot of work for me and I can't do it right now. :/ Is there any other way (maybe in the game/server settings), where you could easily reduce the armor? Just asking, cause there are a lot of things what you can set up there.

Positively Mental Attitude, aberration is not included yet and probably wont be in the next few weeks. We found vanilla gear a bit op, so we reduced the max item quality in our server settings, but you have to know it. :)

Hey,I have a suggestion about mod or maybe even standalone mod that could work with conversion as I have seen you already did some armor changes. I think it would be good idea to change way dino saddle armor work,as now base saddle gives 25 armor,which is 50% reduction. That alone makes dino with saddle having DOUBLE efficient HP over wild counterparts. As this mod has intention to make dinos weaker by having max tame at 80, I think removing or reducing saddles armor would make it even better and more challanging. I think that would be really usefull for this mod if is that possible to make. Formula for dmg is Damage to dino = raw damage * (25/(25+saddle_armor_rating))

Just stumbled across this mod and it looks like this is basically everything i was looking to do with my new playthrough. Im going to have a cluster server and want to include scorched earth and aberration and whatnot. Would this mod rebalance the aberration dinos as well as wyverns and rockdrakes?? Is running this mod with vanilla gear op? Would an ascendant shotgun tear everything apart on this mod?

Immersive Taming changes the way you tame creatures.
There you have a alternative way to tame every creature (by using bait, defending the creature, caring for it, etc).
If your mod and that mod works together that would be awesome!

DarkRuler, the mod is up to date and I always try to keep it that way. :) Dunno about the mod "Immersive taming", if they change the dino blueprints, then sadly they don't work together.
