There are other natural wonder mods; get one of those, and check out how to make it a natural wonder. Building a mountain is ridiculous.

They said we couldn't build a mountain! We showed them!

It's a world wonder, but since we couldn't figure out natural wonders we added it like this

I'm a bit confused here. What becomes avaliable at acoustics? Is this a natural wonder or a world wonder?

woody4077 24 Sep, 2013 @ 10:43am

ah ok, well you could change the name a bit maybe to have something to do with mountain climbing, maybe when you finish the wonder a great artist from your civ is the first person ever to climb matterhorn, good mod otherwise! another cool wonder to do with mountains would be the alps tourist skiing resort, or maybe a normal building, you have to have a mountain in arctic climate within 2 squares of your city and you can build a ski resort

For the fifiteth time we can't add new natural wonders yet, so we've added them through the wonder function.

how do you actually build an mountain?shouldnt it have been a natural wonder instead?
Pouakai  [author] 7 Mar, 2013 @ 6:46pm
Yeah, you need to be next to a mountain

Do you need to be next to a mountain to build it? I like the idea of building a mountain wonder that makes a nearby mountain "The Matterhorn." At that point my imagination can rationalize it as that particular mountain becoming famous in the eyes of the world.

I thought it is a natural wonder :/
But still pretty cool

Sure a civilisation can't build a mountain but it does build the infrastructure and interest around a mountain that makes it a wonder, just ask Paramount Pictures :) My point is that though the mountain (or lake in the case of the Lake Titicaca wonder) itself is not 'built' by a civ the tourism, interest and cultural significance surrounding such wonders are 'built' by the civilisation, it is people that make a mountain a wonder. Well that's one way to look at it until 2K get off their behinds and do something about it. It would also be nice to see an in-game graphic representation of user created wonders, but again this is a limitation placed on modders by the publishers. Keep 'em comin' I say - maybe a Lake Eyre wonder or maybe the Pohutu Geyser???
Pouakai  [author] 16 Sep, 2012 @ 11:16am
Because currently it's impossible to add a new natural wonder with a new model to the game
NullPointerException 16 Sep, 2012 @ 4:18am
Why don't they add natural wonders ?
winc 15 Sep, 2012 @ 2:57am
to build a mountain ? ehhhhh...little bit crazy :) I wouldn't go this direction. Mt. Rushmore yes, but to build as a wonder whole mountain :))) Anyway your other mods Pouakai are great !

@Pouakai: This is why 2K Games needs to finish that DLL editing tool they promised us last year. New natural wonders are a must; the idea that a culture can build a mountain feels downright wrong, especially since the real Matterhorn has impressive traits that few other mountain peaks can match.
Pouakai  [author] 25 Aug, 2012 @ 3:08pm
It's a wonder, as we can't currently make new Natural Wonders.
boyster 25 Aug, 2012 @ 2:38pm
Is this a wonder or a natural wonder
isnorden 24 Aug, 2012 @ 6:37pm
Good to see another Continental wonder; keep 'em coming!
