@Adriano: I'm afraid we don't do collaborations. We're very busy with our own projects right now ^^

But if you run into any compatibility issues between your mods and ours, we'll be happy to look into resolving them.

@Pamparampampamparam: Nothing new. We had to set it aside and concentrate on updating all our other mods to 2.2. but once we're done with Elves, Omega will be getting a bump up the priority list again.

Ahhh... Well, Lunari elves used to have unqiue ship components once, but we didn't like how limited ship component mechanics were back then (no control over how AI used them, no ability to restrict their numbers, not a lot of modifiers to play with).
However, now we're able to create custom resources and components relying on them so we might give it another shot in the future. No promises, but ship components are at least on our radar n_n

yeah that does suck because other mod i like to use is gundam and they give suit and ships unquine weapon for their faction.

@shaw42: No, we don't put turrets on our ships for aethetic reasons - they'd look ugly. Our ships are more designed for gunports, but unfortunately Stellaris doesn't support them so a little imagination is required n_n

We prefer deciding that for ourselves. Small things can be subject to polls, but entire projects are too much to leave at the mercy of democracy n_n

Circumstances change all the time, our moods change even more often, and we need to stay flexible in order to stay productive. Working on whatever we feel like working on at any given time ensures that always something gets done, even if it's slightly out of turn.

@shaw42: Trying <3 Elves and Asari can't be released until Paradox fixes stuff on their end but we should at least have SCX and its modules sorted out soonish.

Same, we have a lot to do after Omega. We want to cover all the other major factions too.
That said, Omega getting finished does not guarantee SA will be next. We might decide to work on another faction first when we get to that point n_n

Yes! n_n Omega ended up getting sidelined as we rushed to wrap up the pre-Le Guin content and preparations, but that's out of the way now so we can come back to Omega once our existing mods are updated.
Le Guin introduced a lot of stuff that not only synergises well with our ideas for Omega, but also introduced a lot of things we were planning to make ourselves (crime and interactions with it). This significantly shortened our to-do list <3 so expect a lot more Omega news in 2019 as we... pretty much have all the tools we need to make it perfect(ish) now!

Likewise, we don't have much interest in Halo and Star Wars at this time. I've never even played a Halo so I don't trust in my ability to do it justice. And Star Wars, we feel, is already covered by other modders. Have you checked ouit Star Wars: Fallen Republic? I'm actually looking forward to it mysefl! I believe it's produced by some of the same devs who worked on Star Trek: New Horizons

Mhm... I don't know, we're not really big fans of dwarves. Please don't take this as a definitive statement (no plans whatsoever at this time, not even on our wall of crazy) but if we were to tackle dwarves, I doubt our idea would be in line with what most people see as dwarves.
Personally, if I had the creative lead on it, I would end up making something along the lines of FF14 Lalafell, and if Nessa did, I know she'd probably picture them more as TES Dwemer (who are basically also elves)

So... I'm afraid if you're looking for a more traditional depiction of dwarves, we're about the wrongest people in the world to ask n_~

I'd really like to see (eventually, without any hurry) a compatibility patch for your ship styles with real Space 3.1. Dyson spheres and ring world sections don't get properly rescaled there. Thanks! :)

@BasileusMaximos: In our (already published if you'd like to see for yourself) Asari mod we simply don't render turrets, so visually, weapons fire from the ship model itself. I wish actual gunports were possible in Stellaris but currently turret mechanics are hardcoded.

Since most if not all ships in Mass Effect use spinal-mounted forward-facing weapons and all ships in Stellaris use turrets how are you going to make Mass Effect ships mount weapons in your mods?

@BasileusMaximos: A little more than that n_n Our Omega project is an attempt to bring Omega, and stuff related to it, into Stellaris as a full fledged playable civ, with its own mechanics, playstyle, shipset and narrative content.

I actually outlined our current roadmap for it a few days ago. It should give you a good idea of what we're working towards ^^

@Balvor: This is not "package" style collection, it's a list of mods released by our team (Extra Ship Components isn't ours, only the patch is)

So please don't just try to enable everything. Some things in it have their own requirements, some may even be mutually exclusive.

@Murcrow: We've been approached with the same request several times already but we have yet to see any results. I elaborated on it a bit in the Asari Civ comments just now if you're interested.

The short version is: we're kinda working on a conversion proeject already. It's just... we're delivering it in small, focused parts that eventually may or may not come together into a greater whole.

That said, permissions-wise, feel free to use anything from Mass Effect Species Pack (Updated). VJ issued an open permission for anyone who's interested to use it any way they want.

But we'd ask you to leave Asari and Omega to us for the time being.

Right now it's still too early and there aren't enough assets to do a total conversion with but maybe at some point in the future we could pool our resources and work on one together ^^

Hello, I`m starting to make plans for a try into making a mass effect conversion mod for stellaris with events and specific design for every races traits and such. That said, i really suck at making portraits and ships (basically i suck at any of the graphical stuff), so could i utilize your graphical assets in my attempt?

@Aerena T'Nova: Those assets were made by someone else (Dawn of the Reapers team from Sins of the Solar Empire) and as far as we know only Captain has their permission to use them in Stellaris.

But even if we had permission, it would be moot. If/when we get to human factions' shipsets we'll create new assets from scratch to ensure that they are up to our standards of quality and functionality (and consistent art style).

If all you're looking for is the existing models rearranged, you could ask Captain himself. He's still active and working on NSC ^^

Omega is a nice thing to do, but please consider alliance ship set rework (since it's clearly abandoned and the author can't express anything for copyrights).

I don't think there would be modelling work, just some code (reassigning ship classes to match 2.0 titan and colossus reality). Shame I can't grasp modding for Stellaris, tho I tried :/

What happened to the Elves of Stellaris? Not finding it on the workshop anywhere anymore.
