Go to: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\270150\917345175\media\packages\running_with_clockworks\items\camouflage_suit.carry_item'
Your path to the file should be similar, you need to access the mod folder, once inside go to the folder 'items' and then open the file 'camouflage_suit.carry_item'
Then go to the end of the file and add ' </carry_item>' just above '</carry_items>' The mod crash in quick battles because this tag is not close, close it as mentioned it and save the file.
Now, let's fix the campign, go to:
C:\Program Files '(x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\270150\917345175\media\packages\running_with_clockworks\weapons\invasion_all_weapons.xml'
Then add the line ' </weapon>' just below the line '<weapon file="all_weapons.xml">' we are closing the tag again, then save the file.
Open RWR again and run the mod, then ENJOY!
..\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\270150\917345175\media\packages\running_with_clockworks\weapons\invasion_all_weapons.xml also lacks the </weapon> closing tag. Inserting it before </weapons> lets the campaign load.
Unknown if it'll crash in some other way afterwards, but it starts at least.
the last two lines of the file must be:
"""
</carry_item>
</carry_items>
"""
there is only one '</carry_item>' cause its an item in a list of items(defined by the tag '</carry_items>' ) with this i just made it work, hope this will help you.

I must declare that, as you might know, I am no longer working on any RWR mods, and the latest game udpates have led them to glitch and not work anymore. I doubt I will come back to them honestly.
So I am allowing others to use my mods freely, if anyone feels like wanting to revive them, you are all free to do so, and make any changes as you please. The only thing I beg in return is for you to leave a space in your description for a little credit, just that
This applies to all mods I made, but I exclude "Running In The Fallout", as I am trying to bring it back personally with some extra help. Wish me luck.
Happy running!
Ive tried just picking the basic vanilla maps and loading the first two factions and it crashes before i get to the match settings.
Sorry if I haven't given the time to do that. So far, I have done that for 3 mods of mine, which are the Star Wars one, the Fallout one, and the Age of Eternal Winter thing
I really need to keep up with stuff
So far, only the weapons of The Commonwealth, Last Legion and Cogwheel cult have them
(This is because back then, I literally overwrited the weapon files of the vanilla weapons and factions. Commonwealth overwritted greenbelts, Last legion greycollars, and Cogwheel cult brownpants)
this was my very first mod, so it had a lot of issues, and if it wasn't by Unit G17, it wouldn't have a campaign
Found files which named as faction (cogwheel_cult.xml), open it, found something like this <faction name="CogwheelCult" color="0.3 0.5 0.3", then rename faction to CC or number
It doesn't scroll.
my only advice to not have this issue, is to play with no more than 5 factions at once.
PS: Working on a remake, don't lose hope~
But life can cansume you time now and then, especially when you have become a young father xwx
I can tell you must be really busy because of the other mods linked to above, but I hope this gets fixed at some point.
