FYI - I've FINALLY found some time to work on the NAW mods. Am working on adding the Battle of Eylau map, and possibly Marengo and/or Ulm to the main NAW mod.

On the expansion mods, I'm also working on the Battle of Dennewitz and a smaller version of the Battle of Leipzig (Germanic Nations), the Peninsular War (Mediterranean Kingdoms), and the Russo-Ottoman War of 1806 (Ottoman World).

The maps are time consuming to build, even more time consuming to test, but I hope to have some more content for the mods release in the next 2-3 weeks. Thanks!

@Jmoney - are you using BNW or an earlier version of the basic Civilization V game? About the only thing anyone at civfanatics mentioned was that BNW scenarios played on a vanilla version of the game can crash during battles. Other than that, I have no idea what's causing your crashes.

ok thanks @S-Man !

@Jmoney - I'm sorry - I've tried for a few days but still can't duplicate the errors you're seeing. I'll turn this over to the civfanatics.com experts and see if they can offer some suggestions.

@ niogtredve - what other mods are you playing with? There will be a conflict with any mod that replaces the games original "UnitFlagManager.lua" file - like this one does.

Try clearing cache then starting Civ V and only play with the NAW and the NAW-MK expansion and see if you get the same behavior.

Hey author, I really enjoy this mod but I am having a problem with the unit emblems (or whatever they are) When I play I can't see the sign that is over the units, i'll put a Gyazo here just in case. I only experience this when I play your mod, so I ask you for help @S-Man I use all the NAW mods by the way

@S-Man just this one and the original one
S-Man  [author] 15 May, 2017 @ 3:51am
@Jmoney - wow - sorry you're having problems. I've never seen that behavior before. What other mods are you using?
Boogers 14 May, 2017 @ 5:30pm
@S-Man yeah thats correct its just all the maps that have naval fights in them inclusing the ones you listed. thanks :)
S-Man  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 1:51pm
@Jmoney - naval battles, like "Trafalgar" and "Nile"? Or the Wars of the Coalitions?

And if I understood you right, it means that the map works fine until the first ship takes the first shot? Thanks.

@S-Man - its on all the maps that have naval battles in them. it happens with all civs, its all the types of boats, and it happens when the enemy attacks my boats, it only happens with boats to when i get attacked by an enemy land unit the game works fine.
S-Man  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 10:18am
@Jmoney - I haven't seen this before. Let me ask a few questions to see if I can replicate the problem:

What map were you playing? What civ were you playing? Which civ were you attacking? What type of boat was attacking what other type of boat? Does the game crash when other boats attack your boats, or only when you attack? Do these crashes occur on all maps or just one in particular?

I know its asking a lot of questions, but it will help me see if I can recreate the problem - and if I can recreate it I can probably fix it. Thanks!

i keep having an issue where everytime i get into a naval engagement my game crashes is this a known bug or is it something with my computer?
S-Man  [author] 13 May, 2017 @ 7:23pm
HELLO! New version is posted. Be sure to replace your current NAW-Mediterranean Kingdoms map with the 2 maps that are in this version of the mod (v2). Thanks!

good
S-Man  [author] 9 May, 2017 @ 5:46pm
Yeah, I was upset about it too. Had 20 new playable civs in the mod, but as the testing progressed, it became clear it just wasn't enjoyable to play anymore. I fought it for over a week of trying new techniques and additional testing, but the game just crashed too many times and turns took 3-10 minutes for the AI to play before it came back to the human player.

I finally broke the mod into 2.5 new mods, and finally decided to decide that was good enough.

good to know, its a shame but understandable if that is what is needed for it to be playable
S-Man  [author] 9 May, 2017 @ 8:16am
@bobcat - only one expansion may be loaded at any time. Originally, both expansions were combined into a single mod but the game became highly unstable, crashing to desktop more often than not. Had to break it into two so at least some of the nations could be played together.

There's also a third expansion, "The Ottoman World" which was part of the original large mod. It should be published in a few days.

can I play with both this and the Germanic states mods?
S-Man  [author] 8 May, 2017 @ 4:11pm
Check the food supply for the city - a few of them don't have have enough for the population they have - too many war refugees... ;)

May need to buy buildings at game start that help with that - e.g. Apothecary Guild, Bakers Guild, Brewers Guild, Pharmacist Guild; or any of the basic game buildings like Granary, Water Mill, or Lighthouse. Also be sure to put the workers on building farms and get fishing boats built as soon as possible.

Just a quick update, 5 turns later it has now lost a total of 8 population for whatever reason.
Magnum 8 May, 2017 @ 10:43am
As i was fighting a war as Sicily against the Papal State Rome suddenly lost 4 population. Any reason why this happened? It did not get captured or attacked.

You only need two mods - this one, plus the basic Napoleon at War mod, located here:
