@yip yap yop yup i know this is a late reply but i think if you got either the mod called Character Editor or EdB Prepare Carefully you can change the age they live to and other stuff.

It'd be nice to see some updates to Xens mods, seems a shame the nice sprite work is wasted on races that all live 5000+ years and only have buffs and advantages with zero drawbacks. Never worrying about age or racial drawbacks is pretty boring IMO.

Their equipment is pretty overpowered as well when compared to vanilla, but that's not hard to patch.
I've looked into trying to make patches for the race itself but I don't think it's possible to run patch operations on alien race mods, which means the alternative is just a straight up XML replacement.

Why the hell do all race mods come with like ten new armors and weapons? When I install a race mod I want the race, and that's it. I don't want no lame ass gimmick weapons or anything.

I'd like a lite version and the age reduced down to something normal, like human lifespan or lesser. The 5000 year lifespan steered me away from this.

Maybe you mentioned this somewhere else but I couldn't find it, why do all of your race mods have like 5000 year lifespans? I love them all but nobody ever has age related health problems which takes a little from the experience I think.

Unrelated, is there a way to make the bionic tails if you use EPOE? I can't make them on the workbenches, and I don't know where else I'd make them.

I need to fix up the description - it adds the race, their faction, a pair of weapons for them, and a trio of power armor variants with camo overcoats (same as normal power armor with slight insulation bonuses based on type for additional materials)

So there seems to be a problem with the comfortable temperatures on the dusters, it raises the minimum temperature instead of lowering it, I think it may be caused by the negative in the insulation cold stat?

There was a changed tag for base selection - I'll doublecheck and make sure I updated all my races- I think I got them all, but I may have missed a couple when I pushed the updates to steam

Gotta say I'm loving your race mods! Just something I'm noticing though on world generation as of B19 is that only one colony of the Xenn, Frijjid, Fenii factions appear. Potential unforseen bug?

When using Prepare Carefully, I noticed that you cannot manually adjust a Xenn's fur color and that saved Xenn load with random fur color.

Is this mod not compatible with hospitality? I tried recruting a xenn, and got a message that I had succeded, but the pawn didn't change alliance. My colonists tried again and again, but they just managed to "anger the chief" repeatedly, never actually recruting the guy.

anyone else having an issue where the xenn will sometimes just end up standing around and not doing anything its not an issue where the are idle because i set them to a job at level 4 because they didnt have much to do and they just kinda stood there not doing anything.

Idk if anyone else is having this issue. But I remember in the last patch you were able to change the color of your Xenn pawn. Now the only way I can change the color of their fur is by rolling the dice. Was it removed or is it a bug?

Seems like it's probably related to Hospitality, since it changes visitor behaviour.

That's very strange, considering they use the vanilla thinktrees and have regular intelligence. They should act exactly like humans - and always do in my games.

I'll investigate and pass the error along to Erdelf (the Alien Framework creator) to see if he has any ideas.
